Responsibilities: Under guidance of the Sr. Manager, Maintenance, this individual is primarily responsible for leading, coordinating and overseeing routine and non-routine maintenance / repairs of Fresenius Kabi process manufacturing equipment and utilities. Fresenius Kabi process manufacturing equipment includes but is not limited to primary and secondary fill/finish. The individual will need a high level of mechanical, electrical and controls knowledge, and experience in order to thoroughly assess any problems with the process equipment, identify root cause, make the necessary repairs and complete associated documentation. This individual will work across Fresenius Kabi departments (and associated department management) to coordinate maintenance activities within the master production schedule, work closely with Manufacturing personnel to obtain information needed to assess equipment problems, as well as coordinate and oversee the work of the Maintenance Mechanics. This individual will be responsible for identifying critical spare parts needed (and then maintaining those inventories in order to minimize equipment down time and maximize production efficiencies). Other essential functions this individual will need are as follows: Perform all activities in compliance with company cGMP and safety policies, procedures and practices. Assist in executing the PM schedules to ensure peak productivity and highest quality possible. Assist in organizing and training of department personnel. Maintain a strong floor presence and enforce cGMP's, SOP's and company policies. Effectively communicate with Directors, Managers, Supervisors, peers and subordinates. Notify management if specifications cannot be met and/or quality or safety is being compromised. Review, document work completed by employees.
