Looks for opportunities to improve quality of data. • Interface with all levels of Team Members in a positive, team building manner. Job Title: Day Shift Industrial Maintenance Fabricator and Machinist Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor Shift: Day Shift (typically 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday-Friday) Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Industrial Maintenance Fabricator and Machinist to join our day shift team. This role is responsible for fabricating, machining, and maintaining industrial equipment and components to support production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, experience with metalworking machinery, and the ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems. Key Responsibilities: Perform fabrication tasks including cutting, welding, grinding, and forming metal components. Operate manual machining equipment (e.g., mills, lathes, drill presses) to produce precision parts. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics. Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery and mechanical systems. Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability. Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to all safety protocols and procedures. Document work performed and maintain accurate maintenance records. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred. Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, fabrication, or machining. Proficiency in welding (MIG/TIG/Stick) and metal fabrication techniques. Skilled in operating manual machining tools. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment. Preferred Skills: Ability to work independently Familiarity with industrial safety standards and OSHA regulations. Forklift and overhead crane operation certification. Time Type: Full time
