Maintenance Mechanic Job Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a fleet of Crown power industrial trucks.
Perform routine maintenance on all lift trucks and warehouse equipment.
Parts Replacement: Identify, order, and replace faulty components or parts.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and service history in our CMMS.
Adhere to all safety protocols while performing maintenance and repairs, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Assist building maintenance with building repairs, electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, overhead doors, racking, and equipment, when needed.

An employee in this position performs skilled, semi-skilled, and common labor work related to the repair, construction, fabrication and maintenance of City Infrastructure; including sanitary sewer, water, forestry, cemetery, street signs, street signals, streets, right of ways, sidewalks, storm sewer, vehicles and other City owned facilities.
Essential Job Functions:
* Performs maintenance and repairs of all aspects of City Public Works infrastructure, operations, and facilities.
* Perform work duties with various crew members in a team environment or work independently as assigned.
* Operate a wide variety of heavy equipment, including, but not limited to backhoe, street sweeper, end loader, motor grader, vibratory soil compactor, aerial bucket truck, combination sewer cleaning truck, tool truck with hoist, skid steer loader, single and tandem axle dump truck with snow removal package and patrol truck.
* Performs field installation, routine maintenance, and repair of City infrastructure. Utilize asset management technology within City GIS system.

* Perform snow and ice control and removal procedures, including plowing, sanding, spreading deicing chemicals, loading trucks, hauling snow, shoveling sidewalks, or maintenance of snow removal equipment, including the operation of large equipment for prolonged periods of time at various hours of the day. Snow removal operations may be scheduled or on an emergency call in basis.

Compensation and Benefits: The 2026 starting wage for this non-exempt position is $25.37 through $32.65 per hour (grade 4, step 1 through grade 6, step 6) depending on qualifications. July rate is $25.75 to $33.14 per hour (grade 4, step 1 through grade 6, step 6). Eligible for annual wage advancement upon approval.
The City offers competitive benefits to include health and dental insurance effective the first of the month following 60 days of employment. For 2026 health insurance, the most affordable area plan offered is the Quartz West Plan with premiums at $225.36 per month for a single plan or $554.72 per month for a family plan. There is no deductible or co-insurance amount for the health insurance plan. Dental insurance is through Delta Dental with premiums paid 100% by the City. The position qualifies for automatic enrollment in the Wisconsin Retirement System (pension plan) providing a lifetime payment once vested and upon eligible retirement. What Will You Do?
Electromechanical Technicians maintain and repair electromechanical drives, sensors and automated machinery while working with maintenance and engineers to install and evaluate electromechanical systems to support the manufacturing process.
What Do You Need?
·Knowledge of troubleshooting and repairing CNC manufacturing equipment, PLCs, motor controls and mechanical assemblies

·Knowledge of programming PLC's, HMI's as well as PC based systems a plus
·Knowledge of working with three phase power as well as a variety of different control voltages a must. ·Ability to use all shop tools

JOB TITLE: Handy Person FLSA STATUS: Non Exempt (hourly) DATE PREPARED: 1-28-2022 The handy person will oversee and assist with a wide range of projects and repairs in the restaurant to help ensure equipment is running properly as well as helping to maintain the restaurants with general repair due to everyday wear and tear. The Handy person will also assist with remodels and new restaurant openings as directed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Repair and Maintenance of equipment and appliances
* Repair of drywall, fixtures, plumbing
* Painting inside and outside of the restaurants
* Light electrical work
* Tile repair
* General facility maintenance issues
* Assist in remodeling of restaurants
* Assist in opening of new restaurants as needed
* Must be organized and meet deadlines
* Must follow all safety procedures and guidelines
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

QUALIFICATIONS:

About the Role The 3rd Shift Maintenance Mechanic at Watlow's Winona, MN Manufacturing Center of Excellence plays a key role in maintaining high-quality equipment and facilities that support industries like semiconductor manufacturing, sustainable energy, medical devices, and food safety. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this role offers growth through hands-on experience and team coaching.
Shift Hours: Sunday night through Friday morning, 9:30 PM - 6:00 AM
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns across the facility.
Support all aspects of equipment and building maintenance, including mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and limited electrical systems.
Troubleshoot, repair, and install machinery components such as motors, bearings, air and hydraulic systems.
Assist with electrical tasks including motor controls, fuses, and circuit breakers.
Fabricate and refurbish production equipment, fixtures, and facility structures (welding and fabrication skills preferred).
Conduct detailed preventative maintenance on SMT placement machines, wave soldering systems, and selective solder equipment.
Perform limited plumbing and low-voltage electrical wiring tasks.
Maintain and improve facility grounds, buildings, and equipment.
Required Qualifications
1+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Broad mechanical background with familiarity in pneumatics, hydraulics, and electronics.
Experience with preventative maintenance on SMT and wave soldering equipment.
Two-year technical degree or certificate, or 1-3 years of related experience.
Basic electrical knowledge.
