The Associate Aircraft Maintenance Technician serves as an FAA-certified airframe and powerplant mechanic, responsible for performing required inspections and maintenance on all aircraft assigned to the School of Aviation & Transportation Technology. This role involves completing FAA-mandated repairs, maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Additional duties include supporting the daily operation of the Purdue University aircraft fleet through tasks such as towing, deicing, cleaning, fueling, hangaring, and maintaining security.
