This position is responsible for providing an intermediate level of expertise in responding to work orders, troubleshooting, and providing repairs to fixtures and systems in a manufacturing environment. Mentor's technicians in all aspects of PSV related work onsite and in the shop. Performs field work and demonstrate the proficient performance of all valve repair procedures. Maintains knowledge of ASME, NBIC, and API codes. Teaches/mentors apprentice-level employees to become leads. Tests and repairs all spring-operated and pilot operated relief valves including AGCO, Consolidated, Crosby, Farris, Mercer, Taylor, etc. Services API/ANSI/other valves per customer and valve specifications. Maintains complete familiarity with testing/setting vapor and liquid valves under NBBIC and company VR manual. Follows manufacture manuals and critical dimension for repair. Order parts for upcoming work. Leads activities, including safety training and safety meetings, for all staff. This position is responsible for providing an intermediate level of expertise in responding to work orders, troubleshooting, and providing repairs to fixtures and systems in a manufacturing environment.
