This role works 6pm-6am, on a 4on-4off schedule. Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities: Locate and diagnose failures, replace defective components, and perform basic troubleshooting using standard equipment, detailed drawings, diagrams, sketches, specifications, prints, manuals, and verbal and/or written instructions. Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, inspect circuits and wiring for shielding and grounding, and test electrical equipment for safety and efficiency. Assist engineers in diagnosing problems and suggesting corrective action. Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as pneumatic tools, motors, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment using testing instruments, hand and power tools, and precision-measuring instruments. Report shift metrics to capture the performance and/or areas for improvement. (Breakdown - Downtime) (Part Availability) Continuously review current processes and search out improvement methods to improve product/process quality and reduce waste, rework, and unnecessary work that adds no value to the work or process. Repair, assist in repairing, or oversee contracted personnel on HVAC systems, janitorial services, and grounds maintenance. Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years maintenance experience, industrial or related experience preferred. Knowledge, understanding, and formal training in: Industrial machine repair/reliability techniques Skills required for machine tool functions Ability to work from prints/technical drawings Understanding of technical and non-technical documents related to design and operational characteristics of machine mechanical and electrical systems. Must be able and willing to work overtime, including short-notice requests. Must be able to lift / push / pull up to 50 lbs.
