The Aircraft Maintenance Technician is responsible for all facets of the preventive maintenance and repair of airplanes to ensure aircraft are airworthy and all technical aspects are documented properly.
Compensation: This is a non-exempt position compensated at $41.00 per hour for the first year of employment, consisting of a $37.00 base rate plus a $4.00 A&P license premium.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned from time to time.

*This role is with Hudson Pump & Equipment, a division of Tencarva Machinery Company.
*This role will be based partly in the field and partly at our repair shop. Candidate must live within a commutable distance (appx. 45-min) of our repair facility (appx. 10 miles west of West Palm Beach).
Role Summary: Provide technical support, service, and repair of customer equipment, both in the field (onsite at customer locations) and at our repair facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Inspect, repair, service customer equipment at the customer's location in response to customers' calls
Perform some in-shop equipment repair - rebuilding pumps and other types of engineered/process equipment.
Installation of various types of equipment, including pumps, turbines, motors, gearboxes, blowers, mechanical seals & packing, bearings, couplings, piping & gaskets, valves, etc. This role will also involve installation of sole plates (concrete, leveling, anchoring, and alignment) and pump bases (concrete, leveling, anchoring, and alignment)
Laser Alignment of all types of rotating equipment
Perform preventative maintenance on customer equipment at the customer's location
Reading and interpreting blueprints, machinery detail drawings, and layout drawings
Some jobs may require field welding, pipefitting, and fabrication
Travel for customer assistance or training
Establish a work schedule in coordination with Service & Repair Manager and Repair Coordinator
Maintain field or shop work area in a safe, clean, and working order
Adhere to safety rules and policies of both Tencarva and the customer
Proper safety equipment to be used per Company safety policies
Other duties as assigned by management.
