PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Maintenance Technician Level II is responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and doing repairs within Grand Lodge.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, and various texturing work
Perform grounds maintenance, snow removal, and ground care in the winter and landscaping tasks in summer
Troubleshoot, service, and repair pumps, condensers, motors, lighting, and three phase electrical panels and circuits
Paint interiors and exteriors of buildings
Remove/install faucets, seats, drain seals, toilets, and auto flushers
Troubleshoot and repair drainage problems, water leaks, and lack of water
Woodworking on cabinetry, counters, walls, stairs, and doors

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have at least mid-level maintenance skills and be able to effectively perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of the following: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, woodwork, drywall, and various texturing
CPO certified in maintaining balanced pools and hot tub chemicals
Able to work on ladders and scaffoldings, use power tools and equipment, and operate company vehicles in a variety of weather conditions
Able to work with various chemicals, including pool chemicals, concrete sealers, and painting products
Familiarity with OSHA PPE protocols preferred
Must be able to perform heavy lifting and strenuous work such as snow removal
Able to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays
Basic hand tools required; specialty tools provided
Able to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions

Associate Degree in Electronics, or an Electromechanical Technician or Industrial Mechanic certificate is preferred.
2-5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment required, high-speed preferred, maintaining large industrial machines, including in-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance.
Physical requirements include frequently lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders and stairs, standing and walking for extended periods, and performing repetitive upper and lower body movements. Must be able to grip, push, pull, bend, stoop, crawl, twist, kneel, and reach. Requires visual and auditory ability to troubleshoot equipment, respond to alarms, and conduct inspections.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following:

What Youll Do
Service wet, dry, and antifreeze systems
Inspect sprinkler heads, pipes, valves, alarms, and related components
Troubleshoot systems and repair or replace faulty parts
Test water flow, pressure, and alarms to ensure system readiness
Perform preventive maintenance and code compliance checks
Travel within the region; occasional overnights
Requirements:
What Were Looking For
Required: 3+ years in fire sprinkler/life safety trades, valid drivers license, high school diploma or equivalent, ability to pass background and drug screening
Preferred: Utah Level I & II licenses, backflow knowledge, MSHA certification
Knowledge of fire/building codes, OSHA requirements, and fire sprinkler systems
Basic computer skills and ability to communicate effectively in English
Willingness to work flexible hours and on-call when needed
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs without assistance
Comfortable with climbing ladders, scaffolding, and working in tight spaces
Capable of standing, kneeling, crouching, or stooping for extended periods
Able to work indoors and outdoors in various conditions
