NE03 The Maintenance 1 position is responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks and repairs in various areas such as buildings, equipment, and grounds. The position entails responsibility for repairing and maintaining facilities and equipment, encompassing a variety of basic maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, fixture changes, carpet repair, and general upkeep. The role involves supporting Maintenance II with filter changes and other HVAC duties, as well as aiding Maintenance III with minimal tasks.
Duties & Responsibilities
•Assists Maintenance II employees with troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing commercial air conditioning and multi-zone heating and cooling systems that incorporate pneumatic, digital and central energy management system controls.
•Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies, and promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environment practices.
•Communicates status of various work orders, work in progress, supply balances and observed problem areas to supervisor, and requests inventory parts and supplies.
•Performs routine maintenance on facilities, which includes basic repair, replacing light fixtures and filters, hanging white boards and other general duties; and assists in completing checklists on building equipment and maintenance.
•Performs routine renovation duties, which includes painting, graffiti clean-up, replacing or repairing drywall and ceiling tiles and tile and baseboard removal or installation
•Assists in wall removal, wall framing with wood and metal studs, sheet rocking, taping, texturing and painting as needed
•Assists with door hanging, glass replacement, concrete pouring and stucco application as needed.
•Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED and one (1) year of related experience and successful completion of Commercial HVAC Certification and EPA Certification within 6 months of employment.
Upon successful completion of HVAC and EPA Certification and two (2) years of related experience, Maintenance I employees are automatically considered for reassignment into a Maintenance II position.
This position requires a valid unrestricted New Mexico Driver's License.

Amentum is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic III - Plumber to join our operations & maintenance team. Typical work schedule will vary based on business demand. This position is responsible for providing an intermediate level of expertise in responding to work orders,
troubleshooting, and providing repairs to fixtures and systems in a manufacturing environment.
Working under minimal supervision as a member of a self-directed work team, this is a multi-craft position that may perform machine repairs and general non-licensed maintenance work, as well as support other licensed trades as directed. Requires good working knowledge of all types and applications of equipment pertaining to maintenance and operations for assigned area, and the ability to work within machine tolerances. General maintenance, including minor duties in carpentry, painting, and sheet metal, may also be required.
The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic III - Plumber must have the ability to identify and correct any safety-related issues and perform independent equipment evaluations to identify potential equipment failures. General Maintenance of equipment will also be required.
Responsibilities:
Determine the location for and type, size and amount of material required, considering such factors as volume, pressure, temperature and type of substance being piped.
Lay out, construct, install, rebuild, maintain, repair, adjust, modify and test plumbing systems such as water, drain lines, lawn and fire sprinkler systems, etc.
Assist in the maintenance and repair of underground sewer and water systems.
Provides O&M related services for latrines and the water works system for structures including pre-existing and portable containers.
Performs O&M plumbing consisting of all materials and labor from the first valve and manhole to the building including all plumbing fixtures and piping contained within, and outside the building.
Performs planned maintenance on all building equipment and related services for specific area
while being sensitive and responsive to customer needs.
Performs preventative maintenance inspections.
Develops and implements planned maintenance procedures, performs job estimates, maintains spare parts inventory. Keeps stock persons informed as to parts consumed from inventory.
Assists in installing, inspecting new equipment and servicing installations.
Provides support to co-workers, contractors, vendors, project managers, building managers, and engineers as necessary to support project and renovation work.
Complies with all governmental, company, and industrial regulations, codes, and standards, health safety practices, and permit systems.
Performs preventive maintenance as scheduled in the Computerized Maintenance Management
System (CMMS).
Responds and provides service and feedback to the customer on all work orders while assuring compliance to codes, regulations and industry standards.
Recommends measures to improve maintenance methods and equipment performance.
Safely performs functions of the position including following proper safety guidelines such as job hazard analysis and lockout/tagout procedures and wearing PPE as required.
Operates various measuring, diagnostic and testing instruments to help provide energy efficiency solutions.
Operates a variety of equipment such as hand tools, laptop computers and diagnostic hardware to perform work.
Maintains a strict schedule in order to be successful in the assignment, yet demonstrates flexibility in the day-to-day activities and scheduling for the benefit of the customer.
Other duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor.

Record amperage, phase balance, and load conditions for each scanned panel, updating PM records and labor entries in CMMS.
Ensure all corrective actions are completed and documented in accordance with the clients IR repair timelines and reporting matrix.
Execute AFD/VFD inspections on all facility drive systems, verifying operational parameters, configuration settings, labeling, and enclosure condition.
Check for signs of overheating, discoloration, vibration, or abnormal noise within VFD enclosures, and inspect internal components for cleanliness and integrity.
Validate the operation of cabinet fans, heaters, and air-conditioning units by adjusting thermostats and confirming correct response.
Verify and, if necessary, correct drive parameters per clients configuration standards.
Inspect and clean air filters, grilles, and intake/exhaust paths, ensuring proper airflow and dust protection.
STJ (Stop the Job) and escalate to engineering for any non-standard findings, abnormal readings, or internal filter installations.
Document all VFD findings, operational readings, and corrective actions in CMMS, ensuring full traceability.
Perform calibration and verification of instrumentation and control devices including temperature, humidity, pressure, level, and flow transmitters, and gas or chemical sensors.
Calibrate sensors to manufacturer and client Facilities tolerances using traceable calibration equipment and standards.
Document all calibration results, “as-found” and “as-left” data, and update calibration tags and records in CMMS.
Verify proper signal transmission, scaling, and controller response after each calibration.
Identify and report any damaged, drifting, or out-of-spec devices for replacement or engineering evaluation.
Maintain calibration records, certificates, and traceability logs in accordance with site QA/QC and audit requirements.
Ensure all electrical and instrumentation work is performed under safe conditions, following arc-flash labeling, PPE requirements, and LOTO procedures.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe at all times, removing debris and securing tools and test equipment after completion.
Communicate equipment health, abnormal readings, and potential system risks promptly to Operations and Engineering teams.
Support continuous improvement by reporting recurring issues, recommending procedural enhancements, and contributing to lessons-learned documentation.

Your role as a Engineer / Maintenance
As a new member of our Engineer/Maintenance team, your day-to-day tasks will involve conducting routine maintenance checks, responding to guest requests promptly, and assisting with repairs as needed. What you need to be successful
