You'll primarily focus on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various machines, helping us meet and exceed production goals. Responsibilities and Activities Performs routine and preventative maintenance on a variety of manufacturing equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Diagnoses and troubleshoots mechanical and electrical issues, promptly addressing "red lights" and other machine stoppages to minimize production interruptions. Conducts machine setups for production operations, ensuring equipment is ready for use. Assists operators with daily maintenance requests and collaborates with them on troubleshooting to keep machines running smoothly.     Maintenance technician job in Rustburg, VA

    Maintenance Worker II Campbell County Department of Public Works is currently seeking a qualified Maintenance Worker II to join our team. This is a full-time, day position working Monday-Friday. This position includes full benefits and VRS retirement. Make a daily difference in the Campbell County organization and locality through: hard work, open and honest communication, ongoing improvement and accountability. Performs with excellence, the following tasks, including but not limited to: Performs or assists with routine maintenance of buildings and grounds such as: painting, minor electrical, plumbing, repairing windows, hanging doors, replacing locks, repairing and/or replacing sidewalks, patching and repairing roofs, carpentry, cabinetry, etc.; Moves equipment, supplies, and furniture as requested; Cuts grass, weed eats, prunes bushes, and rakes leaves, as required; Provide support for County events; Shovels and pushes snow and applies chemicals to walkways as necessary; Replace light bulbs and light fixtures as necessary; Performs other duties as assigned or required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalent One year of related experience Valid Virginia Driver's License and insurable under County's Policy. Requires completion of National Incident Management System IS-700 and IS-100 within 90 days of employment. Core Skill Sets: Knowledge of basic safety as it relates to maintenance; Ability to safely operate grass cutting equipment; Basic working knowledge of hand and power tools; Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time; Basic understanding and ability to utilize the county's adopted software platform. In addition to the standard maintenance duties listed above, a Maintenance Worker II has the following requirements: Responsibilities: Perform monthly preventative maintenance schedules. Plan and manage small building related projects. Qualifications: One additional year of experience for a total of 2; Desired: one year of supervisory experience.
