Move, stack, wrap, and replace pallets on robot. Bag packets into bags utilizing appropriate equipment/machinery. Perform accurate hand-counting of packets. Complete housekeeping duties regularly, following standard operating procedures and operational needs including but not limited to: sweeping, squeegeeing floors, cleaning process equipment, etc. Report waste and scrap materials in an accurate and timely manner. Verify that all materials match the specifications outlined in work orders. Labeling containers to meet customer specifications and federal regulations. Supervisory Responsibilities: No formal supervisory role. Education and Experience Requirements: This position prefers a high school diploma/GED. 3+ years of chemical production experience or the equivalent of training and experience. 3+ years manufacturing equipment operation experience. Under the direction of the Director of Facilities, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a wide range of vendor supervision, preventative maintenance, and repair tasks to maintain the good condition and functionality of the buildings, equipment, and grounds for the plant and all restaurants. The facilities department is based out of Elgin, TX, with regular travel to our five locations in Central Texas as projects require. This is a hands-on position which will require a high level of resourcefulness, good communication skills, and basic mechanical skills. This position will report directly to the Director of Facilities. Primary Functions: Primary Areas of Responsibility * Work in conjunction with the Director of Facilities to develop and implement a world class Facilities Preventive Maintenance program * Assist in setting standards and expectations for equipment up time * Support the Operations Team to allow them to always serve guests the highest quality food products * Manage work orders and projects through maintenance software * Perform and supervise basic preventative and on demand maintenance of mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards * Performs and supervise basic preventative and on demand maintenance of electrical systems such as replacing light bulbs, sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels * Assist with the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when advised * Assists with the maintenance of the heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality * Inspect alarm systems and schedules repairs as needed * Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities * Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and adjust as needed * Conduct general upkeep procedures such as landscaping and other tasks as assigned * Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties * Assist with maintenance logs and report on daily activities * Ensure health and safety policies are followed
