Job Summary
Provides repair and on-site installation on a variety of Veterinary equipment. Learns and follows manufacturer guidelines relative to the operation, repair, maintenance and installation of equipment.

Install, Maintain and/or Repair Veterinary Equipment
Independently responds to assigned customer service calls, diagnosing problems and making appropriate repairs.
Repairs, loads, delivers, installs, and specs equipment to meet specific manufacturer, Federal and State regulations.
Trains to perform standard system installations and tests the functionality of all components.
Trains customers on the use and basic maintenance of equipment at the customers site.
Learns and follows specific manufacturer guidelines for repairs as well as all company, OSHA, or other agencies' policies related to asepsis.
Completes all required service forms (service order, confirmations, inventory, expense reports, time sheet, and equipment related items).
Maintains strong and supportive customer relationships by providing technical support after initial installation of Equipment, PC software, and hardware and ensuring that service commitments are met within standard response time.
Maintain relevant communication with Service Coordinator, Equipment Specialist and Territory Manager.
Inventory Management
Determines parts, supplies or tools needed to complete service requests.
Uses, maintains, and secures test devices and tools used to adjust, calibrate, and repair equipment.
Manages vehicle inventory and restocks as necessary.
Physical inventory audits on a bi-annual basis
Asset Management
Ensures proper vehicle maintenance guidelines and safe driving habits are followed.
Ensures proper use and maintenance of all company provided assets, including but not limited to phone, computer, parts, tools and uniforms.

* When City owned assets are damaged or destroyed, creates billing sheets to recover repair costs.
Budget and Asset Inventory Management
* Assists Operations Division Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the section budget. Monitors budget monthly to ensure expenditures and revenues are accounted for and corrects discrepancies immediately. Performs research for budget preparation and maintains records as assigned.
* Following the City's purchasing policies, purchases materials and/or contracted services for the work of the section.

* Purchase inventory and maintains sufficient emergency inventory repair parts as needed for assigned work section.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Position Summary
The Maintenance Personnel II position is responsible for performing a wide range of semi-skilled and skilled maintenance, repair, and custodial duties to support the safe and efficient operation of the Charles Wright Academy campus. This role works under the direction of the Director of Facilities and Transportation and supports the school's mission by ensuring that campus facilities are well maintained, functional, and welcoming for students, employees, families, and visitors.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Perform general building maintenance, including carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC tasks at a semi-skilled level.
Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on school facilities, systems, and equipment.
Conduct routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify potential issues.
Assist with event set-up and breakdown, including furniture moves, staging, and equipment preparation.
Respond and complete maintenance service requests (FMX work order system) in a timely and professional manner.
Support custodial tasks when needed, including cleaning, trash removal, and seasonal projects.
Perform groundskeeping duties as assigned, including snow/ice removal, debris clean-up, and landscaping support.
Monitor and report safety hazards, repairs needed, or equipment malfunctions.
Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and other maintenance equipment safely and efficiently.
Work collaboratively with Facilities team members to prioritize and complete projects.
Assist with emergency response related to facilities, weather, or campus safety.
Assist in purchasing necessary supplies for all FMX - W.O. and assigned projects.
Keeping accurate records of maintenance and repair tasks performed.
Provide assistance to the Director of Facilities and Transportation, faculty, staff and students when necessary. Work with contractors for capital projects, identify locations on campus, provide information and updates on projects.
Provide security support including first response, securing facilities and perimeter checks.
Able to respond, from opening campus to making emergency repairs with external vendors who may be working on campus on school holidays or Sundays.
Other duties as assigned by the Director of Facilities and Transportation.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in facilities maintenance, construction, or a related trade.
Working knowledge of building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry).
Ability to operate and maintain tools, machinery, and equipment safely.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and perform manual labor indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A valid WA State Driver License to transport if needed for work related transactions.
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow established safety procedures.
Experience reading building plans.
Preferred:
Experience working in an educational or institutional setting.
Specialized training or certification in one or more building trades.
Knowledge of OSHA and workplace safety standards.
Working Conditions
Full-time, non-exempt position.
Reports to Facilities Manager.
Requires occasional evening and weekend work to support events or respond to emergencies.

Salary/Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $28 to $32 per hour for hours worked and is dependent upon background, and breadth of experience. Position Responsibilities:
Fabricate, assemble, and test components of prototype aircraft instrumentation and ordnance equipment
Set up and operate required flight test equipment (e.g., wire bundles, sensors, strain gages) to perform functional or environmental tests on production and/or experimental
Obtain appropriate engineering drawings and test documents, as required, for assignment if drawings, sketches, and documents are not with work order
