Responsibilities The responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician are as follows: * Troubleshoot and perform all necessary repairs to the apartment community, including plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and electrical. The Facilities Technician ensures the efficient operation of all Big Bend Hospice facilities by performing maintenance, repairs, and inspections of buildings, equipment, and grounds. This role is critical in maintaining a safe, compliant, and welcoming environment for patients, families, and staff, supporting our mission of compassionate care. The Maintenace Technician Duties include but aren't limited to: general maintenance and repairs, environmental safety, groundskeeping, emergency response, equipment management, inventory and supply tracking, maintaining appropriate records and documentation, fleet vehicle maintenance, and office and event support. The ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge in a variety of maintenance areas, be a strong communicator, have keen attention to detail, and demonstrated ability to work independently with initiative and timeliness.
