Overview
Under general supervision, performs semi-skilled and skilled building maintenance work of average difficulty; and performs related work as required. Responsibilities
Identifies maintenance issues in order to repair/resolve issues or report issues to someone who can repair/resolve them. Performs repair work using diagrams, drawings, or maintenance manuals.
Operates and utilizes a variety of tools and equipment such as assorted hand and power tools, plungers, sewer rodders, drills, skill saws, and grinders. Provides direction and oversight to others as needed.
Inspects devices such as electrical systems, basic plumbing, mechanical systems (i.e., HVAC, laundry, and food service equipment), removes and replaces defective parts to determine necessary repairs. Performs routine repairs on standard work equipment.
Rewires electrical outlets and breaker boxes; performs routine electrical tasks; repairs windows, doors, flooring, woodwork, drywall or other parts of building structures; performs basic carpentry tasks and minor HVAC repair. Reviews preventative maintenance plans in order to perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure that equipment continues to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and/or the physical condition of building does not deteriorate. Performs daily walk through/inspection of facilities to ensure proper working conditions.
Communicates with outside vendors and customers to provide basic customer service and direct persons to appropriate solutions and answers.

MOST
is a secondary aluminum recycler that receives, processes, and melts aluminum to produce high quality molten and solid products for use by other industries, including the production of automobile parts.
Experience: 4 years industrial related experience; combined w/ vocational or equivalent recognized training. HS graduate or equivalent; PLC exp. plus. Successful candidates will have strong work ethic.
Skill Set: Mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, fabrication, welding, strong troubleshooting, electrical, and ability to work in the heat.
PLC programming a plus.
Responsibilities: Completing repairs, maintaining building equipment, machinery and mechanical equipment such as motors, conveyor systems, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems and production equipment. Identifies problems, conducts troubleshooting, and performs preventative maintenance and maintenance service. Install new equipment/systems. Update various types of equipment to improve efficiency as needed.
Shift: 12 hr night shift (7pm-7am) 2-2-3 schedule
Pay up to $44.50 hr. based on experience/training.

* Follows all work practices and procedures.
