About the role
The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic is a skilled worker in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining company equipment such as conveyers, shredders and other plant maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, inspect and repair all parts of equipment, mechanical, and electrical systems on equipment such as shredders, conveyers, some heavy equipment.
Troubleshoot and perform failure analysis of component parts and systems on building plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, and pump rebuilding and repair on facility as needed.
Welding and fabricating to repair and build and secondary equipment.
Replacing lighting receptacles/bulbs, fans, some minor plumbing upon occasion.
Complete equipment maintenance records.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 7 am to 5 pm (can be flexible with start time). Average 8-10 hours a day. Some OT including Saturdays as needed.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent with 1 years' of verifiable maintenance experience or minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience in plant industrial maintenance including heavy equipment such as front-end loaders, excavators
Valid Drivers License, CDL a plus

Must be able to read precision instruments, such as micrometers, dial indicators, digital multi-meters, and other electronic diagnostic tools.
