Job DescriptionThe Van Driver will use company vehicles to transport our residents to local shopping, activities, doctor appointments and places of employment. Driver will need to be able to safely drive a 15-passenger van that does not require a CDL. When not conducting transportation, the Driver will maintain company vehicles and assist facility maintenance personnel with routine maintenance duties and work orders.

This is a full time position, very flexible hours are required to accommodate resident needs as they arise.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties are normal for this position. This list is not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
· Provides local area transportation to residents as scheduled, ensuring that they are delivered and picked up on-time to their appointments.
· Safely operates company vehicles while ensuring passengers utilize all safety requirements such as seat belts and maintain safe behavior.
· Performs routine maintenance checks on company vehicles prior to using.
· Ensures all maintenance and safety inspections are completed on schedule.
