Job Description:
This position is responsible for ordering, stocking and delivering aircraft parts or equipment to maintenance technicians, working safely at elevated heights and enclosed spaces. Candidate will be required to work in inclement weather and exposed to outside temperatures.
Candidate must be able to use standard hand tools, torque wrenches, operate pneumatic/hydraulic/electrical drive equipment and disassemble/assemble components using a manual. Will be asked to work additional hours or overtime depending on operational needs.

A TYPICAL DAY:
Perform basic repairs and preventative maintenance on PTAC/HVAC equipment, furniture/cabinetry, appliances, light fixtures and plumbing.
Perform interior and exterior painting, landscaping and parking lot repairs.
Troubleshoot various technical devices such as key card systems, internet equipment, television equipment, etc.
Execute routine safety inspections and report/repair issues with equipment or systems.

Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.
REQUIREMENTS:
Previous maintenance experience in a hotel or property management setting is preferred. To be successful in this role, you need basic verbal and written communication skills. This job requires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, carrying, and moving up to 50 pounds. You must also be able to stand and walk for an entire shift. Previous technical training or job experience is a plus. Applicants must be available to work weekends and holidays.

The Plant Maintenance Technician position is responsible for assisting the Air Separation Unit (ASU) with all plant start, shutdowns, and outage repair work. The position will ensure all preventative maintenance for the Anchorage Fill Plant, Palmer Facility, and ASU are done in compliance with company policies and timelines. This role will also include assisting the Field Service Technicians with larger scaled projects that include Airgas facilities, and customer sites.

May be responsible for monitoring the remote Vacuum Pressure Swing Absorption (VPSA) plants on a rotating basis while on call.

* Augmentation of filter changes as required, inspect coil conditions for organic debris and soils.

* Use the Annual Preventative Air Conditioning Maintenance checklists/job plan provided or by manufacturers specifications.

Responsible for maintenance and repairs of tunnel assets including electrical/mechanical equipment, tunnel portals, equipment rooms, ventilation systems, drainage systems, tunnel fire extinguishers, tunnel and equipment room lighting, electronic display signs, emergency telephones, closed circuit TV cameras, and lane signals within the tunnels and roadways covered by the project.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
* Provides basic maintenance and repair of tunnels, buildings, company vehicles, emergency response equipment, electrical/mechanical equipment, ventilation systems, lighting, emergency telephones, CCTV systems, doors, and other items using hand tools or powered equipment (pneumatic, hydraulic, gas, and electric).
* Painting and restoration of the staging area light poles, curbs, sidewalks, and other designated areas.
* Maintain clean appearance of facility through cleaning and litter/debris removal and disposal.
* Must be comfortable working from heights in a bucket truck or using ladders.

* Transports crew and equipment to work sites operating large trucks.

* Assist in and maintain an organized traffic flow in the Bear Valley and Whittier Staging Areas by providing motorists with directions on positioning their vehicles; occasionally reviews all special permits for vehicle travel; assists motorists in the Whittier Staging Area with questions and information related to tunnel rules and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance and repairs for building systems and equipment
Troubleshoot and repair appliances, HVAC units, fixtures, and plumbing
Complete minor carpentry, painting, and remodeling projects
Assist with groundskeeping and custodial tasks as needed
Respond to on-call emergencies on a rotating schedule (evenings, weekends, holidays)

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for performing routine maintenance and repair tasks under supervision, including participating in an on-call rotation for emergency services, of RurAL CAP Affordable Housing (RCAH) properties.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Assist in preparing units for occupancy per HQS standards after move-outs.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:

TRAVEL:
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS AND REQUIRED EDUCATION:
* Must be at least 18 years of age.
* High School Diploma or GED and six (6) months experience general maintenance and repairs of multiple dwelling rental property facilities.
* State and federal background checks, including fingerprints, may be required.
* Responsible work ethic with reliable attendance.
* Proven ability and willingness to be self-directed in problem solving and decision-making and perform basic assignment with little or no direct supervision while also working effectively as a team member.
* Demonstrated basic level of computer skills necessary in order to use and create documents and reports, spreadsheets, workshop materials and slide presentations, and to enter data into intricate database programs and proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook.
* Must keep all matters concerning participants in strictest confidence as required by HIPAA privacy and the 42 CFR, Part II confidentiality regulations.
* Must be able to provide own transportation to meet work schedule requirements.
* Agency recommends Hepatitis A & B vaccination, annual TB screening and physical as part of employee's personal wellness plan (Recommendation - Not a requirement of this position).
