Suggests alternative items and engineered solutions to improve reliability. · Independently performs maintenance as per industry standards. · Complies with 5S and housekeeping standards. · May be required to setup and operate multiple machining operations including but not limited to: lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts. May perform welding tasks. · Studies and investigates technical and systems methods, tools, and innovations that can be implemented in ATS sites to improve maintenance practices and updates documentation. · Prepares input for cost analysis for new equipment, repair/rebuild proposals, cost savings and innovations as required. · Updates records and reviews CMMS history and analyzes data. · Provides technical contents of sales quotations and performs T&M duties as required. · Trains and coaches less proficient technician. The Maintenance Technician I will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of day-to-day operations of Saracen Casino Resort. The Tech I will need some experience, knowledge or certification of one or more of the following; HVAC, electrical, kitchen equipment, refrigeration, plumbing, painting and carpentry skills. Must be willing and able to complete tasks or work orders assigned by the Supervisor. All functions will be performed within the guidelines of the Saracen Casino Resort's policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the Facilities Department with the maintenance of electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and HVAC functions of the all property buildings.
Ensure the proper working order of the major mechanical and electrical components of the casino.
Compute estimates and actual costs of factors such as materials, labor, and outside contractors on Supervisors request.
Communicate regularly with Supervisor and Manager.
Ensure that behavior and appearance are in compliance with established standards.
Maintain safe chemical storage as deemed.
Assist Supervisor with other facility repairs and maintenance as needed.
Abide by all internal controls, policies, and procedures.
Provides exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicates in a pleasant, friendly and professional manner at all times.
