Key Responsibilities:
The physical plant worker is responsible for completing projects in relation to the maintenance of both the building, and the grounds of the facility.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be a critical part of the community's success, ensuring high-quality living conditions and a welcoming atmosphere for residents. Your primary responsibilities include completing apartment make-readies, performing general maintenance, pool care, and responding to service requests. A strong focus on quality work and customer service is essential to excel in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Apartment Turnovers & Make-Readies:
Prepare apartments for new residents by conducting repairs, painting, and ensuring each unit meets high standards before move-in.
Inspect and troubleshoot issues such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances, repairing as needed.
General Maintenance & Work Orders:
Respond promptly to resident requests for maintenance, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and professionally.
Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks to maintain the community's facilities, including landscaping, lighting, and other areas.
Painting:
Paint interior and exterior surfaces of the property as needed, using appropriate techniques to ensure quality and durability.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace and paint storage area.
Pool Care:
Monitor and maintain the pool's chemical balance, cleanliness, and equipment functionality, following local and state regulations.
Ensure pool area safety and cleanliness for residents and guests.
Safety & Compliance:
Comply with all safety procedures, regulations, and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor immediately.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
1+ years of experience in maintenance, specifically within multifamily properties preferred.
Proficiency in general maintenance, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and appliance repair.
Pool certification (CPO) preferred or willingness to obtain.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
