Under the direction of the Building Operations lead, maintains areas related to the maintenance and repairs of the community. Participates in the On-Call rotation for the Community. Responsible for diagnosing problems and making repairs on equipment, machinery, plumbing, heating, cooling, and electrical systems. Responsible for completing community work orders and ensuring they are done in a timely manner for employees and residents. May perform and logs fire drills in the Community on a monthly basis. Age Requirement: Must be at least 16 years of age Experience: Exceptional customer service and communication skills are required Licenses and/or Certifications Required: Possession of a valid Driver's License Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to effectively convey information to students Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook Strong organizational skills Ability to physically withstand exposure to varying weather conditions, chemicals, warm temperatures and other conditions found in the pool areas Knowledge of and ability to physically perform and demonstrate various rescue techniques, life-saving procedures and water safety instruction Ability to exercise independent judgment to apply facts and advisory data to problem resolution. Advisory data includes Town of Castle Rock Personnel Guidelines, Parks and Recreation policies and procedures, Certified Pool Operators Manual, and lifeguarding manuals Must satisfactorily complete a criminal background check and driving record check prior to commencing employment.
