This class is in a flexibly-staff series, which requires one year of satisfactory service before an employee can promote to the journey (Traffic Maintenance Worker II) level. Employees in classes that require one year of service for flexing, will not serve an additional probationary period at the journey level. Traffic Maintenance Worker I incumbents are expected to progress to the Traffic Maintenance Worker II ($4,404-$5,355/mo.) level with appropriate training, experience, and satisfactory job performance.
Duties may include but are not limited to the following:
Assists in the fabrication, assembly, installation and maintenance of traffic control signs
and markings.
Installs and maintains proper signing for construction and maintenance zones.
Places traffic control markings through the application of paints, plastics, and reflective

Job Description
Keep our communities connected As a Broadband Network Technician (BT IV-V) at Vyve Broadband, you'll take the lead on maintaining, optimizing, and repairing the infrastructure that powers the internet and TV experience for entire neighborhoods. This role combines advanced field diagnostics with leadership guiding junior techs, restoring service during outages, and proactively maintaining the HFC plant to prevent issues before they start.
You'll be the front line of uptime solving challenges others can't, in an environment that values your expertise and rewards your commitment with tools, training, and a clear path to grow.
What You'll Do
Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of the hybrid fiber-coax (HFC) network, including RF, AC, DC, and optical systems.
Optimize network performance through node balancing, alignment, and signal calibration.
Monitor and mitigate signal leakage; ensure full compliance with FCC and local regulations.
Maintain documentation and perform scheduled maintenance on standby power supplies.
Lead or mentor lower-tier technicians (BT I-III) on field best practices and customer service.
Support outage restoration efforts with clear communications to teams and dispatch.
Maintain and safely operate a company vehicle and equipment.
Record and submit job logs and documentation using mobile devices or work order systems.
What You Bring
BT IV certification or equivalent work experience.
6+ months as a Broadband Technician III or equivalent field network experience.
Ability to splice coax and fiber optic cable.
Proficiency with signal meters, spectrum analyzers, OTDRs, volt-ohm meters, and leak detectors.
Strong understanding of HFC and IP networks.
Experience reading and interpreting system maps and schematics.
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather, on ladders, in confined spaces, and during on-call rotations.
Physical & Work Conditions
Comfortable working at heights on poles or ladders (up to 32 feet).
Able to lift up to 70 pounds and carry tools and ladders across various terrain.
Occasional night and weekend work during outages or maintenance windows.
Work in attics, crawl spaces, and near power lines as needed.

Job Summary:
The Building Maintenance Technician I will be responsible for maintaining and the overall operation of the buildings and utilities of the plants. This will include preventative maintenance programs designed to provide a healthy and safe environment for all employees, and customers of Lyons Magnus. Employees must have skills in plumbing, painting, light electrical and maintenance mechanic. Some computer skills are needed, and all work must be tracked in our CMMS system.
Pay Range: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
Schedule: (4/10; four days on and 3 days off)
Location: Fresno, CA
Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Supports the mission, values, and vision of the company.
* Maintain evaporative coolers of all plants to be running at peak performance, to ensure a comfortable and safe work environment for all employees.
* Maintain exhaust vent-fans, to vent out hot steams from production facilities.
* Maintain restrooms throughout facilities and any plumbing areas including drain plugs and back-ups.
* Works within a team environment to share information and help others as needed.
* Perform inspections to evaporative coolers, HVAC systems, and updraft fans.
* Check operations of these systems for running conditions, belt tensions, water pump, cooler pads, bearings, motor mounts, bolts, and adjust alignment of motor and belt pulleys; change or tighten parts if needed.
* Weekly, check and inspect a total of 111 coolers within the 10 plants, up to 4-6 hours daily on the plant's roofs working at heights.
* Bi-Weekly or otherwise a problem is detected, check exhaust and updraft fans; grease bearing and check belts; tighten or replace parts if needed.
* Inspect proper operation of HVAC Units including condensate drains, fan operations, and UV lights.
* Assist the Maintenance Department in making repairs as one team.
* Fulfill work orders requests; varies from plumbing problems, lock repair/replacement, doorway, painting walls, and repairing damages to walls.
* Perform maintenance inside and outside of company to ensure the overall appearance of the facility look its best, includes painting, lighting, and repairs.
* Utilize equipment's such as: skill saw, jig saw, hot saw, cordless drills, rotor hammer, jack hammer-electrical and air, reciprocating saw, paint sprayers, pipe threading machine, man lift, scissor lift, and forklift.
* Knowledgeable with plumbing, evap. coolers, buildings repair, including installations.
* Provides timely and efficient resolutions to all mechanical issues as required.
* Performed other job duties as assigned by supervisor for special projects.
* Sets an example for other employees by following all safety rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
* Must be able to work independently, work with little to no supervision at times, and follow a maintenance schedule.
* Tools will be supplied by Lyons Magnus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Working knowledge in plumbing, evap. coolers, installing, and repairs
* Some mechanical / electrical skills are necessary
* Construction background

* High School Diploma or GED equivalent
* Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a construction related environment
