Looking for someone that can work and repair CNC machines and other machinery. Looking for a electrical person with experience with equipment but also industrial electrical experience would be good. Not looking for a HVAC or facilities maintenance. Would consider a CNC machinist but must have experience repairing the machine during a breakdown.
POSITION SUMMARY:
With minimum guidance in a team environment, responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks of a complex scope and nature in one or more of the following areas: production equipment, diagnose and repair of conventional and CNC machinery.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities may include some or all of the following:
Remove, repair or relocate CNC machines; install air & water lines; align and adjust machines for production operation.
Diagnose defects and perform repair and preventive maintenance to various types of hydraulic equipment, CNC machine tools, building plumbing and related equipment.
Construct, install, maintain, repair and overhaul test stands, fixtures and related hydraulic equipment.
Setup and operate arc and acetylene welding equipment.
Perform high pressure tubing and hose fabrication for hydraulic and pneumatic application and contamination control.
Plan, layout and construct additions, partitions, benches, shipping boxes and other carpentry.
Assist in planning sequence of operations and methods to be used in overhaul and repair.
Check and calibrate new or rebuilt equipment after installation.
Identify and repair CNC machine malfunctions.
Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, hydraulic and mechanical operations for proper operation.
Use precision test equipment.
May work with computers and computer software to create and operate programs, reports, and spreadsheets.
As a specialized hazardous material technician, may:
Coordinate inventory and pickup of hazardous material and maintain current inventory of on‐ site chemicals.
Advise and assist in clean‐up of chemical spills.
Coordinate packaging, labeling, storing, and scheduling pickup of hazardous waste for offsite disposal.
Maintain accurate records of all hazardous waste shipped offsite.
Initiate compliance inspections.
Provide technical assistance on hazardous materials compliance and safe practices.
Perform other related responsibilities.
Job Requirements:
Five years related maintenance experience or demonstrated ability to perform described
responsibilities.
May require proficiency with pump and valve overhaul procedures, especially aerospace associated equipment.
Ability to work from blueprints and sketches.
Possess required tools.
May require ability to setup and operate hand and power tools.
May require working knowledge of national, state and local electrical codes.
May require knowledge of general hydraulics technology, i.e. pumps, cylinders, accumulators, filters, & piping; tube bending, piping fabrication for hydraulic and pneumatic applications.
May require knowledge of chemicals and their characteristics.
May require working knowledge of computer and computer software to operate programs, create reports, and spreadsheets.
May require a Hazardous Material Handling Certificate
Required to lift up to 50 pounds.
May require forklift operator certification.

Summary Objective
We are seeking a dedicated and self-motivated professional CNC Automation Maintenance Technician - With expertise in operating, troubleshooting, and repairing Voortman and Pema metalworking machinery. The ideal candidate is skilled in conducting routine maintenance and repairs as well as troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to ensure optimal equipment performance and long-term reliability. Essential Functions
Responsible for delivering performance and operational uptime of our automated systems including but not limited to automated metal fabrication equipment, automated painting equipment and other technologies as assigned.
Support the development of maintenance plans for key automated manufacturing/fabrication equipment
Provide triage support during outages of our automated systems
Participates in workshops, Kaizen events and other related activities as needed
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated manufacturing/fabrication equipment
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system issues to minimize downtime.
Configure, calibrate, and optimize robotic welding cells and automation components.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement process improvements and equipment upgrades.
Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and repair histories (Upkeep software).
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all maintenance and repair activities.
Provide technical support and training to operators and junior technicians as needed.
Partners internal and external teams to support manufacturing related initiatives

Work Environment
Most work is performed in a production fabrication shop environment with exposure to loud machinery, welding equipment, grinders, and cutting tools. Presence of metal dust, fumes, and sharp materials; proper ventilation and PPE (personal protective equipment) are mandatory. Standing, bending, lifting, and moving heavy materials for extended periods. Temperature fluctuations depend on season and equipment usage; some areas may be hot due to operational needs.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand. Qualifications:
Prefer a background of 2 years of successful current experience in the direct line supervision of maintenance employees and/or demonstrated leadership skills

Background with preventive maintenance systems in manufacturing
Must have excellent all-around maintenance system skills and experience in areas such as industrial electricity, mechanical power transmission and fluid piping systems
Must have good computer skills including computerized maintenance management systems, working knowledge of MS Office Application and PLCs (Plant Automation Systems)
Must have good troubleshooting and decision-making skills

You Will
Perform maintenance for blow molding & injection molding manufacturing equipment to assure uninterrupted & optimal operations
Execute & continuously improve preventative maintenance procedures
Participate in changeovers, ensuring efficient & correct execution
Repair & rebuilds spare parts
Assure compliance with all safety protocols, quality standards, operational practices & procedures
Expand your expertise through formal training & on-the-job experiences, including new equipment installation & equipment modification projects
You Have
Ability to work Monday - Friday, 6:15am - 3:30pm, along with overtime, as needed
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
A minimum of three (3) years of experience maintaining manufacturing equipment.
Experience with Gem Wheel, Palletizer & Airveyor is preferred.
Solid hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical knowledge, along with the ability to troubleshoot & problem solve
Ability to interpret technical & operational documents, including manuals, blueprints, schematics
ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work on aerial platforms up to 20 feet with or without reasonable accommodation

Maintains Distribution Center (DC) facilities and equipment to maximize Operations performance. Job Responsibilities:
Performs assigned preventive maintenance tasks and minor mechanical repairs to material-handling and other Distribution Center (DC) equipment.
Uses Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)-generated preventive maintenance worksheets to maintain distribution machinery and equipment according to the manufacturer's recommendations and good maintenance practices.
Maintains efficient operation of material handling equipment by clearing jams and removing foreign materials.
Performs general building maintenance as directed, such as lamp replacement, simple construction, wiring, repair of overhead doors and plumbing.

Basic Qualifications
High School/GED and at least 2 years (BA is PQ only) in associate degree in industrial or maintenance technology OR at least 2 years of maintenance experience in a facilities, United States Armed Forces, distribution and/or manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of industrial electricity including single-phase and three-phase power, motors, protective devices and/or photo sensors.
At least 6 months experience with hand and power tools (such as drills, fasteners and saws) in a facilities, United States Armed Forces, distribution and/or manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of mechanical theory including bearings, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyor, construction, and operation.

Willing and able to lift parts and tools weighing up to 80 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
Willing and able to perform tasks which include repetitive bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, twisting, sitting, standing, and walking with or without reasonable accommodation.
