Senior Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping the facility operating and repairing system problems as soon as discovered. Senior Maintenance Technician is required to perform more complex maintenance tasks and assist with a wide range of repairs related to the facility's pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and conveyor systems.
Job Responsibilities:
Performs assigned preventive maintenance tasks and complex mechanical repairs to materialhandling and other Distribution Center (DC) equipment.
Uses Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to maintain distribution machinery and equipment according to the manufacturer's recommendations and good maintenance practices.
Mentors and develops Maintenance Technicians and new Senior Maintenance Technicians under the direction of management.
Maintains a safe work environment by documenting and correcting potential safety issues concerning material-handling equipment or distribution center facility.

Basic Qualifications
At least 3 years of maintenance experience in a facility, United States Armed Forces, distribution and/or manufacturing environment. OR Associate degree in Industrial or Maintenance Technology AND at least 1 year of maintenance experience in a facility, United States Armed Forces, distribution and/or manufacturing environment.
Prior experience with industrial electricity including single phase and three phase power, motors, protective devices and/or photo sensors.

Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge:
Thorough knowledge of general gardening and grounds maintenance methods. General knowledge of proper methods of planting, cultivating, and caring for hedges, ornamental trees, shrubs, lawns, and flowers, and the use and care of gardening materials, tools, and equipment.
Abilities:
Ability to recognize the more common species of ornamental shrubs, trees and flowers grown in California; perform strenuous physical work as described in this classification; utilize mechanical aptitude and motor coordination; learn to skillfully operate small trucks and power-driven grounds equipment; read and write at a level appropriate to the duties of the position; and follow simple oral and written instructions.

The Maintenance Worker is responsible for upholding a favorable image of the fairgrounds to the public; ensuring that the buildings and grounds are kept clean, safe, and appealing. This may involve, but is not limited to, tasks such as painting, carpentry, welding, plumbing, electrical work, janitorial duties, installing blacktop and grading, cement work, brick work, setting up and/or installing temporary structures for events, roofing, fencing, landscaping, digging ditches, and may lead a crew of unskilled workers. The Maintenance Worker will operate from plans, blueprints, and other specifications as required.

Working Conditions
The Maintenance Worker is provided with an office within the Maintenance Shop Building.

The Maintenance Worker must maintain a clean driving record.

Position Summary
The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for ensuring the efficiency and safety of all departmental equipment and operations. The role will focus on setting up, maintaining, troubleshooting, fabrication, and overhauling equipment, as well as supporting related mechanical systems across the facility.
Primary job duties would include:
Build, install, maintain, and overhaul all equipment, including pipe systems and all machinery.
Troubleshoot issues by observing mechanical systems and testing and measuring equipment to determine the root cause and corrective action.
Review materials and parts, submitting requisitions as necessary.
Test and time machinery.
Lay out and work from blueprints, diagrams, sketches, drawings, etc.
Position, align, and anchor machinery.
Cut and form parts and assemble parts to construct machinery and equipment.
Weld, including Heli arc and stainless steel.
Operate a forklift as needed.
Perform tasks such as oiling, greasing, painting, and cleaning.
Assist other mechanics with general maintenance tasks outside of department-specific work.
Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping in the work area/department.
Understand, use, and follow safety policies and procedures including use of PPE and lock out tag out.
Execute tasks independently and safely without direct supervision.
Operate and maintain computerized equipment and machinery when required.
Ensure compliance with all food safety, quality, and company standards.

Participate in continuous improvement efforts focused on safety, efficiency, and sanitation.

Mold systems, internal hot runner and cold half maintenance, identification of component wear and troubleshooting through detailed inspection of produced products
Plastic processing at high speeds while maintaining tight part tolerances and acceptable levels of acetaldehyde (AA)
Create SOP's for troubleshooting machines, and upload them to BDA system; responsibility for machine reliability and meantime before failure
Regular and predictable attendance, as well as required on-call availability, are essential functions of the job to ensure equipment and facility up-time
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time in a manufacturing environment. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Will need own toolbox and basic tools.

DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS:
The Park Maintenance Aide class is a sub-entry level classification. Incumbents are temporary

SUPERVISION RECEIVED/EXERCISED:
Receives close to general supervision from a Park Maintenance Supervisor within a framework
of well-defined policies and procedures and functional direction and training from a Park
Maintenance Worker II. Incumbents in this classification do not supervise or direct the work of
others.
EXAMPLE OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Depending upon assignment(s) responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to the

Essential duties of the Park Maintenance Aide I classification series are primarily performed
outside under varying weather conditions. Essential duties are performed on a daily basis with
hands in water, on uneven and slippery surfaces, in confined spaces, around moving vehicles
and equipment and on equipment with moving parts, and occasionally below ground, on ladders
and/or scaffolding. Incumbents are exposed daily to extreme heat or cold, to high frequency and
constant noise, dust, allergens, chemicals, solvents, fumes, smoke, gases, grease, oil and
electrical energy.
Physical Conditions:
Essential duties of the Park Maintenance Aide I require repetitive use of feet and hands to
operate vehicles, equipment and tools; to feel the attributes of objects by touch; to verbally
exchange ideas and information; to hear to receive detailed verbal information and instruction;
to be able to view objects within one to twenty feet and differentiate basic colors and shades of
