MAJOR FUNCTIONS:
The Maintenance Worker is responsible for all renovations, adherence to safety codes and management of physical plant emergencies. She/he is also responsible for daily cleaning and housekeeping activities.
SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Daily house run to assess condition of the facility relative to agency standards and determine areas of concern.
Ongoing maintenance of plumbing, electricity, heating and wiring.

REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION/TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
High School Diploma or G.E.D required
Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a New York City building, preferably, in a residential social service setting.
Must have a valid NYC Fire Department Certificate of Fitness.
Valid NYS Driver's License highly preferred but not required.
Proficiency with computer operation (Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook programs).
Must be able to work a flexible schedule.

MAJOR FUNCTIONS:
