Receive training and learn on highly automated equipment from Sweden, called Tetra Pak. Food manufacturing/GMP or Liquid bottling experience is highly desired.
This position has the responsibility to comply with safety work rules at all times as well as an obligation to reinforce safety as a core value. Ensures that all policies, procedures and activities, related to food safety & quality, are followed and complied with uniformly, in an effort to reduce product and process variability.
The techincian position is responsible for ensuring the equipment productivity and efficiency through troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and monitoring.
Tetra Pak or Evergreen experience is highly desired!
Automation, electro mechanical, electrical, or E&I experience is recommended.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.

Position Description:
The Maintenance Technician will engage in performing various maintenance activities at Knappco. Will respond to maintenance requests after being submitted through an automated system. The Maintenance Technician will also complete projects as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
What You'd Do:
Essential Functions:
Analyze mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and plans for and takes corrective action.
Perform preventive maintenance on machines and equipment at the proper intervals.
Make necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality.
Review production schedule and when equipment is not scheduled for manufacturing, changes over equipment to new sizes or performs scheduled maintenance.
Test equipment to check operation.
Clears jams and sets aside product for inspection and rework. Tries out equipment after repairs, changeovers or extended downtime.
Examine, tests, and measures product from assigned equipment for quality specifications, using gauges and instruments, and records data on appropriate forms.
Checks product for visual defects.
Make preventive maintenance check and inspection of assigned equipment, reports findings to supervisor and takes appropriate action.
Examines defects and analyzes spoilage causes and, where possible, takes corrective action.
Analyzes and records cause of production delays on daily production report.
Additional Duties:
Repair and adjust small machines, e.g. drill presses, punch presses, grinding and buffing heads, riveters, bench power and hand tools to involve replacement of bearings, spindles, electrical switches, etc.
Work from drawings, sketches, specifications and instruction manuals

Auria, a leading Tier-1 supplier of interior carpet components for the auto industry, has full-time openings in the Journeyperson classification at the Sidney, Ohio location. The shift hours are as follows: 1st shift: 6:45 AM - 2:45 PM, 2nd shift: 2:45 PM - 10:45 PM, and 3rd shift: 10:45 PM - 6:45 AM.
The hourly rate of pay is $30.92 plus a 60-cent shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

This is a multi-craft position which requires fabrication, installation, repair, maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery, electrical components, jigs, fixtures, tooling, plumbing, and physical plant structure.
Successful candidates must possess an electrical or mechanical journeyperson's card or have 8 years of documented related experience and be able to work any shift and overtime as necessary.
