Essential Duties & Job Functions:
* Maintains grounds of industrial, commercial or public property such as buildings, camp and picnic grounds, parks, playgrounds, greenhouses, and athletic fields, and repairs structures and equipment, performing one or more of the following tasks:
* Cuts grass, using walking‑type or riding mowers (less than 2000 lbs.).
* Trims hedges and edges around walks, flower beds, and walls, using hedge trimmers, clippers and edging tools.
* Prunes shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth, using shears and other hand tools.
* Sprays lawn, shrubs, and trees with fertilizer. Plants grass, flowers, trees and shrubs. Waters lawn and shrubs during dry periods, using hose or activating sprinkler system.
* Picks up and carts away leaves, paper or other litter to include gutter/roof cleaning and carpet removal. Removes snow from walks, driveways, roads, or parking lots, using shovel and snow blower.
* Spreads de-icing material on walkways and other areas.
* Repairs and paints fences, gates, benches, tables, guardrails, sprinkler systems, and outbuildings.
* Assists in repair of roads, walks, buildings, and mechanical equipment. May be assigned as flagger or firewatch when trained and certified.
* May clean comfort stations, office and workshop areas, and parking lots by sweeping, washing, mopping and polishing.
* May be assigned to assist with spill response team. May be required to obtain and maintain asbestos certification for the purpose of removal of asbestos.

The General Maintenance Associate - Duct Cleaner performs duct cleaning and maintenance services on HVAC systems and components for occupied and vacant homes to improve overall air quality.
Primary Responsibilities:
Respond to service calls, complete COM work and other property maintenance requirements including cleaning and maintenance of residential HVAC ductwork, registers, dryer vents and other HVAC mechanical components.
Maybe required to respond to and complete on-call after hour emergency and urgent repairs.
Update work order status including time, materials and notes on mobile devices provided in an accurate and timely manner. Completes and submits all required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner. Keeps supervisor well-informed of activities, results of efforts, problems identified/potential problems, etc.; recommends corrective actions to supervisor.
Maintain vehicle and vehicle inventory as prescribed.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work, work to deadlines using sound judgment
Ability to adapt successfully to changing situations and environments, managing multiple assignments and tasks and work under pressure
Ability to utilize a mobile device including applications, email, and internet
Ability to utilize and maintain specialty equipment
Must have a current vehicle license in good standing and meet the driving records standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy
