Assist in the retrieval of modular buildings and mobile trailers from customer locations to the yard.
Assist in installation of skirting, steps, and VAPs at customer locations.
Assist in safety protocols for CDL drivers.
Assist in ensuring trucks are properly loaded.
Operate hand and power tools safely.
Serve as a spotter for CDL driver on job sites.
Interface with customers at job sites.
Yard Technician Tasks:
Clean all units, including washing and waxing flooring.
Replace and install floor tile.
Replace and install windows and doors.
Replace and install exterior siding and other building components.
Paint all portions of units to specifications.
Remove and replace walls.
Remove and replace lighting, plumbing and electrical.
Perform light carpentry work/repair on customer job site.
Operate company toter as needed to maneuver trailers in yard.

Responsibilities
The Utility Field Operator is responsible for maintaining water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer infrastructure systems in the community. The primary position responsibilities and areas of impact are:
Demonstrates strong mechanical aptitude to perform a variety of maintenance activities using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment including pickups, dump trucks, sewer suction and jetting trucks, skid steer loaders, backhoes, chain saws, chop saws, large air compressors and assorted air tools. Leads projects as directed.
Develops and applies specialized skills to the division needs in such areas as carpentry, welding, repair of equipment and infrastructure assets. Provides training in specialized skills to co-workers and seasonal employees. Looks for opportunities to develop and use technical knowledge to support the efficiency and effectiveness of utility operations.
Uses utility maps and construction drawings and performs division record keeping functions for daily workload and utilizes computer technology to assist in these activities.
Performs daily preventive maintenance and pre-trip Department of Transportation (DOT) inspections on vehicles and equipment.
Provides mentorship and on-the-job training to seasonal employees and monitors their performance.
Participates in Public Works snow-clearing operations as a snowplow route driver.
Maintains a valid Commercial Driver's License and an excellent driving record.

Locate sources of plumbing leaks of tenants, report and relay concerns to sourced contractor.
Responsible for placing, hanging and setting all Mall holiday and event décor, which can include working on ariel lifts or ladders.
Responsible for setting up internal events, small- and large-scale marketing and entertainment event, including organizing and setting stanchions, setup and take down of staging, placement and removal of tables and chairs, and special assembly or construction for events.
Operate ariel lift to hang guide wires and banners during event and seasonal setups.
Ensure the overall safety of the immediate work area as well as surrounding areas.
Following local and state building code.
Assist other maintenance departments as needed.
Work temporary adjusted seasonal shifts for holiday setups, including nights and weekends.
Additional duties as assigned.
PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Graduate of a trade, technical, or vocational school with degree in building maintenance or related field, or equivalent, preferred.
