Study and become familiar with the various items of equipment, and the methods required to use them properly, that are required in everyday activities. Submit P-card Receipts Daily Update work order status in real time Utilize CMMS systems such as Corrigo for all work performed. Performs related duties as required. Mental and Physical Abilities: Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail. Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy (25-50 lb.) and heavy (50-75 lb.) supplies, materials, and debris frequently. Work requires continued walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing. Ability to maintain regular, predictable and punctual attendance. Working Conditions: Frequent exposure of up to 80% of work time to dirt, dust, extremes of temperatures, noise, and noxious fumes and odors. Exposure to hazards associated with equipment, machinery, rough terrain at construction sites, and moving vehicles on roadways. On call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for emergencies. As a safety-sensitive classification, you will be subject to drug and alcohol testing, including random testing. Marijuana is one of the substances included in the drug panel screening. Possession of a medical marijuana certification will not excuse you from the testing process, or the consequences of testing positive for marijuana. PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION: Under general supervision, performs manual and semi skilled tasks in their assigned Water and/or Sewer Utility System.
