Job Description Purpose: Maintains property and ensures that facilities are kept in good repair and working order. Under direction, performs minor to moderate repairs to buildings, facilities, and service equipment. Operates the collection and distribution systems, pump and storage facilities, all other related equipment, and performs all other work as may be assigned. Replace rubber drive belts on machines. Clean, lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, pulleys and other parts of machine, using rags, brushes and grease gun. Measure, cute, and install pipe and tubing for water and hydraulic lines, using ratchet, cutting die and threading die. Repairs and replaces gages, valves, pressure regulators and other plumbing equipment and opens clogged drains, using plunger and plumbers' tools. Repairs and/or replace fixtures as needed. Make and repair counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures, using saws, braces, bits and other carpenter's tools. Paint walls, floors, woodwork, and fixtures using spray gun and/or brushes. Replace and repair brick and plaster walls, using trowel and other tools necessary for masonry work. Operates welding equipment and performs welding tasks as needed (if qualified). May perform occasional unskilled and manual labor tasks. Assist with planning and installation of landscaping materials, including fences and walls, and provides care and maintenance of landscape areas. Assists with care and maintenance of walkways, roadways, and other traffic areas, including snow removal as necessary. Perform other work related duties as assigned: e.g. Pick up delivery of supplies, tools equipment as may be needed for district events such as meetings or other similar events. Montech Inc. is seeking a qualified Maintenance Worker to provide professional trade services to ensure the continuous, safe, and effective operation of healthcare facilities, staff quarters, and auxiliary buildings. These services are critical to maintaining regulatory compliance, patient safety, and operational readiness within IHS healthcare facilities. Duties will encompass preventive maintenance, emergency repair, installation, and documentation of work through the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Under direction from the Facility Manager will perform semi-skilled, planned, proactive and reactive maintenance repair work on Credit Union grounds, building and equipment. Accountability/ Job Duties Work cooperatively and effectively with employees, contractors and the Facilities Manager to ensure a safe environment for all individuals entering Credit Union property. The maintenance worker is responsible for the day-to-day care, upkeep, maintenance, and repair of district facilities and equipment, as assigned by the maintenance supervisor or other immediate supervisor. These duties include major and minor repairs as expertise and equipment available allow. A maintenance worker may be assigned on a temporary, rotating, or permanent status to any of the facilities of the district commensurate with the district facility needs. This type of position requires strength and stamina to perform strenuous tasks in varied working conditions. Maintenance worker must be capable of lifting at least 60 pounds and have the ability to perform all essential functions and physical demands. Performance Responsibilities: * Inspection of machinery and mechanical equipment defects. * Dismantling of machines or equipment to gain access to defective parts and repairs them, using hand-tools. * Replace rubber drive belts on machines. * Clean, lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, pulleys and other parts of machine, using rags, brushes and grease gun. * Measure, cute, and install pipe and tubing for water and hydraulic lines, using ratchet, cutting die and threading die. * Repairs and replaces gages, valves, pressure regulators and other plumbing equipment and opens clogged drains, using plunger and plumbers' tools. * Repairs and/or replace fixtures as needed. * Make and repair counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures, using saws, braces, bits and other carpenter's tools. * Paint walls, floors, woodwork, and fixtures using spray gun and/or brushes. * Replace and repair brick and plaster walls, using trowel and other tools necessary for masonry work. * Operates welding equipment and performs welding tasks as needed (if qualified). * May perform occasional unskilled and manual labor tasks. * Assist with planning and installation of landscaping materials, including fences and walls, and provides care and maintenance of landscape areas. * Assists with care and maintenance of walkways, roadways, and other traffic areas, including snow removal as necessary. * Perform other work related duties as assigned: e.g. Pick up delivery of supplies, tools equipment as may be needed for district events such as meetings or other similar events. * Must be able to work extra duty, after regular scheduled work hours, when needed by the district. * Other duties as assigned. The Park Maintenance Worker-II serves as a Lead employee in each work crew that is assigned to a Park Maintenance Supervisor. This Lead directs, guides, trains, and develops crew members, whether or not a Supervisor is present, while also performing all aspects of Park or Facility maintenance. Workers, either permanent staff or temporary, may be assigned to a Lead on an as-needed basis depending on the size or complexity of tasks necessary to maintain an assigned park area. However, a Park Maintenance Worker-II may be assigned individual responsibility for Park or Facility area without being Leader or part of a crew. Winterizes irrigation systems. * Installs and maintains trails, complying with accessibility requirements. * Performs minor semi-skilled park building maintenance to include painting, fence repair, graffiti removal and park building improvements. * Trenches and installs new pipelines * Leads, guides, develops, assists, and trains assigned work crews. * Preps athletic fields for practice and regular games. * Operates boom truck to include but not limited to, street banners, shade structures, parking lot lights, three trimming, surveillance cameras and flags. * Assists with traffic control for City events (parades) putting up and taking down barricades. * Supervises Community Service Workers from any courthouse. * Assists in the setup and breakdown of City special events. * Maintains open space and Bosque areas including restoration. * Removes snow/ice during inclement weather at City facilities and parking lots/sidewalks including off hours. * Installs high tensile fencing. * Assists in set up and tear down of ribbon cuttings and ground breakings. * Constructs and installs memorial tree plaque and tree. * Maintains City skate parks and dog parks. * Maintains culverts/drainage ditches within City park limits.
