Job Summary Under general supervision, performs precision tune-ups and maintenance on HVAC equipment and accessories. Communicates with customers to answer questions, resolves problems, and ensures complete customer satisfaction. Promotes products and services to customers. Works under the direction of the Field Supervisor or General Manager. Key Responsibilities:
· Works under general supervision to perform maintenance calls
· Independently performs routine precision tune-ups and maintenance on heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment as well as accessories in an accurate and timely manner
· Conducts diagnostics to identify potential problems to prevent premature and unexpected breakdowns or callbacks
· Completes routine maintenance and equipment cleaning as needed or required
· Responsible for delivery and removal of parts and equipment needed to complete service work
· Assists the Service Technician in servicing heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment as well as accessories
· Using hand-held device records all required information on customer call. Completes all forms and paperwork in a neat, timely, complete, and accurate manner. If necessary, collects payment from customers.
· Communicates with dispatch, while on duty, to ensure dispatcher has an accurate status report of activities and availability
· Responsible for delivery of excellent customer service and sustaining high levels of customer satisfaction
· Promotes products and services to the customer. Calls Sales and Service Coordinator with specifics on replacement product sales leads generated from customer service visit.
· Ensures company property, vehicles, and tools are being used, maintained, and properly accounted for
· Represents the company professionally, honestly, and ethically in all business matters and activities
· Follows standard procedures and process, ensures that the company vehicle is properly stocked
· Performs similar/other duties as needed or assigned
· Manages service calls, completes routine maintenance and equipment cleaning as needed or required
· Delivers quality customer service and promotes basic products and services to customers
Qualifications/Skills:
· High school diploma or GED.
· 2-5 years of experience as an HVAC Maintenance Technician
· Must possess all valid licensing or certification as required by federal, state, provincial, or local governmental laws or regulations for the geographical work area
· EPA and safety certifications required
· Basic knowledge of the fundamentals of the operational functionality of heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment as well as related accessories
· Proficient mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate all necessary tools and equipment
· Proficient and able to operate all necessary tools and equipment to perform various service projects
· Basic skills in reading wiring diagrams and troubleshooting problems with electrical, refrigerant and duct systems on air conditioning equipment
· Effective communication skills to communicate with customer and resolve customer issues, complaints, or concerns
· Effective and efficient time-management and organizational skills
· Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
· Available to work flexible hours and on-call shifts as needed
· Experience performing basic maintenance work on HVAC equipment and related accessories is desirable
· Ability to stand and walk and to climb ladders and attic stairs and to maneuver in attics, basements, and crawl spaces to access HVAC units. Ability to continually climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.
· Ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions, including but not limited to the following: hot, cold, outdoor, indoor, dry, humid, slippery surfaces, heights, and congested areas
· Ability to safely climb 300lb load capacity rated ladders with a 30lb tool belt
· Natural or corrected vision to see and focus for close, distance, peripheral vision with normal depth perception
· Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds

ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES ANNOUNCES AN OPENING IN OPERATIONS/PHYSICAL PLANT Maintenance Worker I (HVAC) (3 vacancies) Perform various repairs involving HVAC equipment and preventative maintenance to same equipment. Knowledge of electrical needs and repairs as needed in general maintenance and repair to campus buildings. Will check HVAC equipment and building general maintenance as well as repair in the plumbing, carpentry and general mechanical work. Assist other crews as needed. Perform general maintenance, repairs and modifications to campus buildings and grounds. Perform a variety of repairs to include, but not limited to: minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and mechanical work. Change ballasts and bulbs. Performa maintenance and upkeep of tools and equipment utilized to perform duties. Assist with remolding of offices and buildings located on campus. Minimum Qualifications:
One year experience in HVAC, electrical or related experience. Ability to effectively interpret written and verbal instructions. Good written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills required. Basic practical knowledge of several maintenance trades with special emphasis on building maintenance. Heavy lighting up to 50 lbs. and heave carrying up to 50 lbs. Long periods of time spent standing, walking, bending, kneeling and stooping. Ability to reach above head. Ability to climb ladders. Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a variety of tools.
Desired Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent. Two years maintenance experience in HVAC, electrical or related work experience. Proficiency with reading blueprints for various projects.

Who We're Looking For:
A part-time Maintenance Associate for our Bethany Morningstar Storage facility: a people-person and team player who loves to fix, repair, and improve. We're looking for an energetic, handy “keeper of the castle” who thrives in a non-desk job and whose motto is “it's handled.”
What You'll Do:
Create an exceptional environment for our customers.
Take pride in the physical appearance, facilities and grounds of the property, including but not limited to landscaping, sweeping, mopping, cleaning bathrooms and units, cleaning debris and items throughout the property (around dumpster and items left in units or throughout the property).
Ensure proper functioning and upkeep of the property through regular maintenance tasks, including but not limited to HVAC upkeep and maintenance, electrical repairs, painting, carpentry repairs, plumbing repairs, roofing repairs (patch leaks, sealing).
Find the best methods to solve problems and enjoy knocking out a checklist.

Qualifications
What You Need:
Curiosity & creativity.
Independence, be self-driven, and engaging.
A “can do & happy to” attitude.
Ability to move comfortably around the property, doing hands-on work.
Experience with HVAC repairs a plus.
Past maintenance and janitorial experience.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
Handy with tools, and some basic mechanical knowledge is a plus.
High School diploma or GED preferred.

Physical Demands Required:
Ability to move freely throughout the property multiple times a day.
Ability to climb up a ladder.
Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
