A Line Tech Lead by KHMS definition is a department maintenance Trio member. They will do so while safely delivering planned production without defects, every time, while minimizing cost.
Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed safely, effectively, and in a timely manner. Assists team members with technical issues or advanced problems with given assignments. Inspects work performed by team members. Parts and materials are analyzed for defects and proper fitment. The Line Tech Lead will help with the load leveling of PM's as they pertain to Line Tech workload.
This employee will develop the maintenance capability of the Line Tech Team by serving as a technical coach and resource. They will Coach line operating teams on technical aspects of equipment. The Lead spends time on the floor gathering information on breakdowns, defects, and work order completions over the past 24 hours. Works with the SAP Coordinator to continuously improve PM work instructions, task lists, and checklists. The Line Tech Lead will work with the Planner to ensure that all work is completed on time.

Overview of Responsibilities
Routine Vehicle Inspections
Assist with daily inspections of school buses and other company vehicles.
