ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES ANNOUNCES AN OPENING IN OPERATIONS/PHYSICAL PLANT Maintenance Worker I (HVAC) (3 vacancies) Perform various repairs involving HVAC equipment and preventative maintenance to same equipment. PURPOSE OF THE CLASSIFICATION: Responsible for performing a variety of unskilled, semiskilled, and skilled tasks, custodial duties, repair, maintenance, and renovation activities of Parks and Recreation facilities and grounds, and other miscellaneous duties in order to ensure that facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe and sanitary manner. ESSENTIAL TASKS: * Assists with the operation and maintenance of Hatbox Field; Event Center, Hangars, Dance building, RV Park & Hatbox Sports Complex. * Maintains the daily cleaning of assigned fixtures, facilities and grounds; picks up and empties trash and debris, cleans facilities, including restrooms and office/break room areas. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
