The Maintenance Technician II will help in keeping the buildings and grounds in a clean, orderly, and safe condition. PRIMARY PURPOSE: This position is accountable for troubleshooting, repairs and performing preventive maintenance relative to the mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing systems and physical structural elements of the center. The Maintenance Technician is directly responsible for the day-to-day maintenance operations of a 60-unit affordable housing tax credit property serving elderly residents, under the direction of the Community Manager. This role ensures all apartments are rent-ready prior to move-ins, including assessing and addressing damages, painting, cleaning, and overall unit condition. The Maintenance Technician maintains the property grounds, completes work order requests in a timely manner in accordance with agency standards, and accurately documents all work through completion. The position requires building and maintaining positive, respectful relationships with residents, as well as effective working relationships with suppliers, vendors, and service professionals supporting the property. Responsibilities: Maintain physical condition of the property. Perform scheduled maintenance on all equipment based on all equipment based on the manufacturer's recommendations and the Operating and Maintenance manual. Vacant Unit Turn-Over Maintenance as directed by the Facilities Manager. Occupied Unit Maintenance as specified by the Facilities Manager.
