The Maintenance Technician maintains and repairs plant machinery, equipment, and facility systems to keep production running. PURPOSE Layout, install and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 1. Work from MLS work orders and record labor and inventory transactions in MLS. 2. Install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment such as transfer systems, balancers, robots, conveyors, and programmable controllers. 3. Install power, light electronic and control circuits and apparatus; establish secondary distribution centers, balance loads, wire complicated circuits with a large number of connections. 4. Connect power supply wires to machines and equipment, and connect cables and wires between machines and equipment 5. Overview The Maintenance Utility Employee is responsible for performing a various services associated with maintaining hanger, hanger equipment and company vehicles in a safe and operational working conditions. This person in this position is responsible for the general maintenance and cleaning in an assigned city park or area. Duties include assisting in the daily routine maintenance of parks, athletic fields, golf course, and park facilities. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Collects and disposes of trash and debris on City Park property; Mows grass, picks up leaves and assists with snow removal as season dictates; Performs general golf course set up for daily play. GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB This classification will conduct various routine and semi-skilled maintenance tasks at city parks and recreational, and city-owned facilities. Monday through Friday with a shift start time as early as 7am. Some weekends and nights required.
