RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Perform duties safely using approved safety equipment and procedures. Troubleshoot Trystar equipment with minimal supervision; contact manufacturers for technical support as needed. Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) regularly and as required. Update maintenance management software by entering assets, work orders, and generating PM/work order status reports. Apply general fabrication skills, including welding (MIG & TIG), plasma cutting, torch cutting, and band saw cutting. Read facility blueprints for equipment and production line layout. Apply mechanical knowledge and basic electrical meter skills for troubleshooting. Disassemble and diagnose mechanical failures; perform necessary repairs. Assist with machinery installations and maintain most equipment independently. Apply plumbing skills for facility maintenance (e.g., sinks, drain lines, toilets). Apply HVAC skills for equipment and facility maintenance (e.g., heaters, furnaces, AC systems, exhaust fans). Assist outside contractors with machinery repairs and installations. Maintain knowledge of pneumatics (repair airlines, fittings, valves, cylinders) and hydraulics (replace hoses, pumps, valves). Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the day. Safely operate forklifts and scissor lifts. Inventory and control stock of maintenance supplies. Participate in continuous improvement efforts by identifying and supporting process improvements. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Basic Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
