Position Overview and Responsibilities:
This position will be located with the Turlington Building group in TallahasseeFlorida. The Incumbent filling this position will be required to perform a variety of maintenance functions, to the buildings and their heating and air conditioning systems. Such duties and responsibilities require the incumbent to accomplish task related to building Maintenance Mechanics and HVAC Mechanics. This requires a trained professional with mechanical, plumbing, and electrical experience as well as general maintenance background. Specific duties include routine minor mechanical maintenance and preventative maintenance of equipment in this building.
General Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance on plumbing, electrical, heating, air conditioning and ventilating equipment.
Visually inspect all equipment daily. Report any unusual wear or noise to supervisor that same day.
All scheduled preventive maintenance, such as oiling, greasing, filter changing, adjusting belts, etc. to be performed as scheduled.
Responsible for performing all specified preventive maintenance tasks assigned each week, also is responsible for reporting all time and materials used on each work order.

Calibrate, adjust, and repair temperature devices.

Position Overview and Responsibilities:
This position will be located with the HVAC group in TallahasseeFlorida. The Incumbent filling this position will be required to perform a variety of maintenance functions, to the buildings and their heating and air conditioning systems. Such duties and responsibilities require the incumbent to accomplish task related to building Maintenance Mechanics and HVAC Mechanics. This requires a trained professional with mechanical, plumbing, and electrical experience as well as general maintenance background. Specific duties include routine minor mechanical maintenance and preventative maintenance of equipment in this building.
General Responsibilities:
* Perform preventive maintenance on plumbing, electrical, heating, air conditioning and ventilating equipment.
* Visually inspect all equipment daily. Report any unusual wear or noise to supervisor that same day.
* All scheduled preventive maintenance, such as oiling, greasing, filter changing, adjusting belts, etc. to be performed as scheduled.
* Responsible for performing all specified preventive maintenance tasks assigned each week, also is responsible for reporting all time and materials used on each work order.
* Keeps track of inventory parts on hand for all repairs and/or replacement. Requests for parts on an as needed basis
* Calibrate, adjust, and repair temperature devices.
* Required to fill out work orders for all calls and equipment repairs. Work orders are required for any maintenance activity performed on equipment other than scheduled maintenance.
* All scheduled and unscheduled work orders are to be filled out correctly and completely and turned in by the end of the week.
* Maintains mechanical rooms and equipment in immaculate condition.
* Perform minor building repairs, including replacing ballast and lamps; repairs and/or replaces locks and door closures; performs plumbing, pipe fitting, welding, and electrical repair and maintenance. Repairs and/or replace toilet fixtures and lavatories. Repairs and replace faucets, faucet washers, etc.
* Working knowledge of Customer work Order System, Building Automation System and Building Evacuation processes.
