Role Description
We are looking for a Facilities Maintenance Associate to support our lab and office operations, ultimately helping Form Energy continue to be a great and safe place to work. You will make sure our facility runs smoothly and support our technical operations. You'll interact with many teams, independently execute day-to-day operations and maintenance activities, and roll up your sleeves to quickly tackle facility management issues. What you'll do:
Execute basic facilities maintenance and improvement tasks in support of technical development and office users, promptly closing out all work order requests using our online ticketing system
Perform basic maintenance of facilities equipment; organizing and maintaining hardware and tools as well as assembling and installing facility furniture/equipment
Maintain safe surfaces inside and outside the facility (snow removal on paths, wet floor caution, etc.); inspects facility for weather-related leaks
Maintain a professional and courteous manner with all vendors, contractors, and colleagues
Interface with vendors and provide escorts for in-house work
Support Warehouse staff when on breaks, vacations, or as needed
Manage recycling and waste removal schedule
Work a daily in-person shift between the hours of 7am-3:30pm
What you'll bring:
Prior hands-on facilities and/or maintenance experience within a fast-paced environment
Ability to shift gears quickly and follow tasks/projects to completion with minimal prompting

Key responsibilities:
* Incumbents of positions in this series: install or assist in the installation of heating, ventilating, air conditioning, refrigeration, or related systems, equipment, and fixtures in a food service area; check equipment for malfunctioning; maintain and repair equipment; and perform related work as required.
* The basic purpose of this work is to perform tasks that ensure the proper maintenance and repair of food service systems, equipment or fixtures, and to assist in the installation of equipment.
* Install, maintain, inspect, and repair food service equipment, such as water supply systems, electric motors, water and gasoline pumps, conveyor systems, air compressors, air conditioning units and kitchen appliances.
