    Job Title: Maintenance Worker Department: Maintenance Position Status: Full-Time FLSA Status: Non-exempt Reports To: Maintenance Manager Pay Range: $180-25/hour This position is Full-Time Year Round and will receive $500 sign-on bonus after successful 90 day probation period. Job Summary: The Resort Facilities Carpenters staff conducts all Carpentry tasks at the resort's base area facilities and on-mountain facilities utilizing both in-house resources and outside contractors, as well as assisting the Maintenance department. Essential Functions: * Complete work orders from Lodging Operations * Complete physical plant work orders from other areas of the resort * Perform contracted services for property management accounts * Work on general resort carpentry projects * Assist in snow removal operations * Assist in maintenance projects when necessary Qualifications: High school and/or trade school diploma Carpentry experience required Valid driver's license. Required Knowledge and Skills: Solid general facilities carpentry/maintenance knowledge including carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and snow removal. Proficient in the proper use of hand tools, power tools, and snow removal equipment. Strong organizational and communication skills. NOTE: All Bolton Valley employees are required to perform alternate functions from time to time, both within and outside of their assigned department, particularly during peak periods such as holiday weekends. Customer Service Expectations: Must be helpful, friendly, courteous and professional in accordance with Bolton's commitment to providing superior customer service. Physical and Mental Demands: Requires prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending and twisting. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Weather can be uncomfortably hot and humid in summer, and cold in winter. Work Environment: Work is performed both indoors and outside in all weather conditions, including summer heat and humidity, and extreme cold, snow, wind and rain, on varied terrain surfaces. Assists senior level supervisors or technicians in repairs and replacements as needed. Performs repairs and preventative maintenance on all building systems. Cleans internal areas of buildings and mechanical spaces; including buffing, dusting, sweeping and mopping. Paints interior and exterior walls and trim and floors. Assists other departments as needed or directed.
