Job Description
JOB POSITION: Industrial Technician
Are you interested in becoming an experienced Overhead Crane Service Technician? Join Konecranes, one of the world’s largest material handling companies. We're seeking skilled individuals with electrical and mechanical expertise, comfortable working at extreme heights. Our service technicians, the heart of our industry, thrive in a safety-first environment. You'll troubleshoot 480 3-phase motors, address crane issues, and collaborate with clients and facility directors to meet service needs across the United States.
Principal Responsibilities:
Conduct inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at customer locations.
Provide on-call service as part of a rotation, including after-hours support.
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, structural, and electronic issues on-site.
Perform post-repair audits to ensure safety features are functional.
Document findings and recommend corrective actions, including safety notifications to customers.
Consult with customers on repair and safety issues, offering recommendations for material handling improvement.
Produce electronic documentation using company tools, obtaining customer signatures.
Stay updated on industry codes and regulations (OSHA, ANSI, CMAA, HMI).
Complete service reports and other required documents accurately and promptly.
Communicate with the Field Operations Manager and Service Coordinator following established practices
Maintain company-issued equipment, vehicles, and assets in proper working order.
Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles, reporting deficiencies to the supervisor.
Follow established safety rules and procedures, including customer guidelines.
Participate in monthly safety meetings.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma required. Associate degree in Industrial Electrical and/or Mechanical Technology or related field preferred or equivalent vocational/technical training and experience.
Experience: Minimum one (1) year experience involving electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair. Some electronic experience but not necessary. Prior experience with cranes is a benefit, but not required.
Other Requirements: Must have and maintain a good driving record, including a valid driver's license. Must be willing to work off the ground. Can work varied overtime, as needed by customer, be available for "on call" as part of the service office rotation and be able to travel and work out of town, on occasion.
Must be able to frequently lift to 25 lbs. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a daily basis. Must be able to lift to 75 lbs. although not on a daily basis. Must be able to lift 100 lbs. on a rare basis. This position requires frequent climbing, balancing, stooping/crouching, and overhead reaching. This position requires occasional pushing, pulling, kneeling, and crawling. This position will be inside approximately 90% of the time and outside approximately 10% of the time. This position will be frequently exposed to heat, cold, noise and heights.
This is a safety sensitive position.

Under the direction of the Facility Manager, this position requires extensive hands-on analysis, maintenance and troubleshooting of our 24x7 facility operations within Aligned Data Center. Work includes installation, repair, and maintenance of critical and non-critical mechanical and/or electrical machinery and controls located in the interior and exterior of building.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (to include, but not limited to):
Maintains, monitors, and performs preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment.
Mechanical areas to include operation and maintenance of multiple components within the HVAC system, plumbing installation/maintenance, generator operations, fire detection and suppression, life safety, temperature control systems, building management systems, and digital systems (including fire alarm, duress, card access, CCTV).
Electrical responsibilities include plan, implement, coordinate and supervision of all electrical operations, maintenance, and energy management programs for a critical facilities environment. Ensure conformance with all Change control development, approvals and execution.
Scheduling, development and quality assurance for all preventive maintenance, contracted maintenance, general maintenance.
Routinely performs all work in strict accordance with governing MOP/SOP/ERP procedures, and maintenance work instructions.
Operates and monitors critical and non-critical system equipment and components. Oversees work efforts (including 3rd party contractors) for safe and compliant operation, maintenance (corrective and preventive), and modification of critical equipment. Disables and enables fire alarm control panels and systems.
Receive and execute work orders for preventative and corrective maintenance on critical systems and building physical structure. Consult with Facility Manager or Lead CFT to order necessary materials to complete all maintenance and perform necessary work. Finalize work orders by completing necessary documentation in the computerized maintenance management system.
Respond immediately to emergency situations (fire, evacuation, equipment failure, etc.) and customer concerns.
Monitors building operations and tours properties periodically during scheduled shift.
Receives work order for Preventative and Corrective maintenance on electrical systems and building physical structure. Consult with supervisors and staff as appropriate to identify and order necessary materials to complete all maintenance and perform necessary work. Finalize work orders by completing necessary documentation.
Understand the engineering design and operational aspect of all electrical systems.
Evaluate, assign and monitor the safe work responsibilities and safety procedures capabilities of employees and contractors.
Respond quickly to emergency situations, develop and communicate and improve ADC's processes to ensure continuous improvement and innovation.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Riverton City is seeking a full-time position as a Streets Maintenance Worker - Level I, II, or III in the Public Works Department, Streets Division. This position performs a variety of skilled work related to asphalt and concrete work, snow plowing, vehicle maintenance, etc.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:

Work as a member of a field maintenance crew
Operates specialized heavy equipment, such as single & tandem-axle dump trucks, road graders, front-end loaders, backhoes, bucket trucks, street sweepers, snowplows, and sanders
Assists with dig-out and replacement of damaged sections of roads
Performs tear-out and replacement of curb and gutter

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
1+ years' experience in light construction work, including cement finishing, preferred for level I.
3+ years' experience in light construction work, including cement finishing required for level II.
5+ years' experience in light construction work, including cement finishing required for level III.
1+ years' experience operating light to heavy equipment preferred for level I.
3+ years' experience operating light to heavy equipment required for level II.
5+ years' experience operating light to heavy equipment required for level III.
ATSSA flagger and traffic control tech certifications are required for levels II, & III.
LTAP training is required for levels II, & III.
Confined space training is required for levels II, & III.
Must have Road Scholar and Road Master program completed for level III.
Special Qualifications:
Must have a Utah Commercial Driver License A with tanker endorsement for levels II and III, or obtain it within 6 months of hire for level I.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
