Majestic Realty Co. history

In 1966 Current Chairman, Edward P. Roski, Jr. returned from Vietnam after 4 years of service with the United States Marine Corps where he was decorated for bravery with two Purple Hearts.

In September 1968, Majestic formed its own construction company, Commerce Construction Co., Inc.

In 1970, Majestic developed its first office building.

In 1978, Majestic celebrates its 30th Anniversary.

By the end of 1980, Majestic was recognized as a leader in the newest trend of mixed-use industrial parks, giving businesses the opportunity to combine their corporate offices and industrial facilities under one roof.

1988: Majestic completed its first building larger than 1 million square feet.

1990’s – Expanded into Retail & Entertainment

1993: Las Vegas, Nevada Office opened.

1994 – First retail center developed

1996 – Office opened in Aurora, CO

1998 – Office opened in Atlanta, GA

2002: Our Company’s longstanding tradition of corporate giving was formalized with the launch of the Majestic Realty Foundation – now the cornerstone of our community investment program.

After many years of individual giving and fundraising, Edward P. Roski, Jr., a recipient of a Bronze Star and two Purple Hearts, and his Majestic Realty Co. and military service colleagues, Kent Valley and John Semcken, founded and launched the Land of the Free Foundation in 2007.

2008 – Office opened in Bethlehem, PA

Building #1 will represent the metro-area’s largest single speculative warehouse ever constructed, exceeding Majestic’s 500,000-square-foot spec Building #28 completed in 2014.

In addition to the Amazon lease agreement, Majestic expanded its Commercenter footprint to beyond 1500 acres with the November 2015 acquisition of 530 acres of land adjacent to its existing park.
