Example Of What A Makeup Instructor does

  • Teach a series of 4 makeupclasses including: Makeup 101, Makeup 102, Airbrush and Bridal Makeup.
  • Trained girls ages 7 - 18 years old.
  • Instruct them on makeup and colorapplication techniques for different face shapes, eye and skin colors.
  • Teach both beauty and FX makeup to a class ranging between 10-20 students
  • Prepare classroom before each class, clean each area and tools afterwards, record student progress, and administer final exam.
  • Coordinated skin care clinics & training sessions for Esthederm.
  • Work performed on contract basis.
  • Educate students on application, color theory, business building, etc.
  • Create lesson plans for theory and demonstrations, assist in event coordination, promote student learning through corporate events.
  • Develop selling course study "Selling 101"; customer service, bookings for department stores and salons.
  • Explain, educate and demonstrate the art of makeup to future professionals.
  • Trained and guided students in various makeup applications such as natural, smoky eyes, bridal.
