We're a boutique Los Angeles law firm. Our cases are primarily trust, probate, financial-elder-abuse, and conservatorship cases. What the role looks like * Run your own docket. Handle will- and trust-contests, fiduciary-duty claims, and contested conservatorships from intake through trial.
* End-to-end discovery management. Draft and serve RFPs, ROGs, subpoenas, and privilege logs. Respond to written discovery-gather documents, craft objections, and verify responses. Lead meet-and-confer sessions and letter exchanges with opposing counsel; negotiate ESI scopes and protective orders. Argue discovery motions in court
* Argue other motions and evidentiary hearings. Appear in LASC and probate divisions statewide-often solo.
* Take and defend depositions of parties and percipient and expert witnesses.
* Participate in Case Strategy Discussions. Collaborate in discussions where we dissect active matters and craft litigation strategy as a team.

* 4 + years of heavy litigation experience (probate / trust disputes a plus, not required).
* California bar, good standing.

Annual Base Salary:
GS-5 and GS-7: $40,332 - $109,952 per year
Note: A fully trained CBPO is eligible for up to $45,000 in overtime pay annually.
This is a career ladder position with promotion potential up to GS-12. You will be eligible for promotion to the next higher grade after 52 weeks at each level, subject to agency discretion.
CBPOs receive comprehensive federal benefits including health, dental, vision, sick and annual leave, and retirement plans including a Thrift Savings Plan (similar to a Roth 401(k)).
Recruitment Incentives: For eligible locations, you may receive an additional 10-25% of salary for the first 3-4 years depending on the location. These incentives apply to new federal employees and are subject to funding.

Experience: Three years of full-time general work experience demonstrating ability to interact with the public and apply information.
Education: A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Combination: A combination of general work experience and college education.

About the Role
This is an on-site full-time role for a Director of Events Sales and Business Development at Blackbird Flagship in Culver City, CA. As the Director you will work with the VP of Business Development and Strategic Initiatives to manage the prospecting and sell-in of premium events to accelerate the overall revenue growth of Blackbird Collective. Specific emphasis will be placed on developing and maintaining key business relationships with clients, sponsors, partners and future members of Blackbird.
