Position Responsibilities
* You will report to the Maintenance Supervisor on site at the Marshall, MO facility
* Troubleshoot, remove, install, replace, re-build, repair, and test parts/components on plant & production equipment
* Keep mechanical equipment in good condition and working order
* You will inspect machines and equipment to locate problems, replace defective parts, and make necessary adjustments to ensure production operation
* Use manuals, repair manuals, parts manuals, parts diagrams to troubleshoot plant and production equipment
* Use hand and power tools to remove, install, replace, re-build, repair, and test parts/equipment on plant and production equipment
* Perform electrical and pneumatic work on production machines
* Welding, electrical and fabrication experience
* You may work seven days a week and extended shift schedules
Position Qualifications
* High school diploma or GED
* 2 years progressive mechanic experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
* Vocational tech training in machine maintenance
* Carry and push/pull up to 100 pounds
* Read and write English for completion of production/quality documents.
* Basic math skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions and percentages
* Familiar with and ability to use basic shop equipment, electric arc welder, plasma cutter, torch and basic hand tools
* Electrical experience

of Education.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Administrate the assigned school in compliance with the statutes of the State of Missouri,
regulations of the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, and the approved
policies of the Board.
2. Establish and maintain an effective learning climate.
3. Provide the leadership for implementation of programs to meet student needs.
4. Supervise the guidance program to enhance individual student education and
development.
5. Establish guidelines regarding student conduct and maintain effective student discipline.
6. Supervise the instructional process and submit appropriate staffing recommendations to
the Superintendent.
7. Coordinate school activities in conjunction with Parent Teacher Organizations and other
school/community organizations.
8. Plan, organize, and direct all school activities in conjunction with the Activities Director,
when appropriate.
9. Serve as the instructional leader, including curriculum development, and monitoring of
student achievement indicators such as standardized test scores, course grades, etc.
10. Establish and maintain favorable relationships with local community groups and
individuals to foster understanding and solicit support for overall school objectives and
programs.
11. Assist newly assigned staff members in their transition to the new position.
12. Coordinate such support services as maintenance, security, food services with the regular
school schedule/program.
13. Works with the Special Services Director in implementing and supervising the school's
special education and federal and state programs outside of the regular education realm.
14. Prepare or supervise the preparation of reports, records, lists, and all other paperwork
required for the administration of the school.
15. Participate in district administrative meetings, other meetings as directed by the
Superintendent of Schools.
16. Prepare and submit the school's budgetary requests and monitor expenditures of funds.
17. Work with other members of the district administrative team on school problems of more
than in-school import, such as transportation, special services, and the like, in solving
problems and/or dealing with situations that might involve other schools in the district.
18. Conduct meetings to keep staff informed of new programs, policies, administrative
expectations, etc.
19. Keep the Superintendent informed of the school's activities as well as any problems that
might develop.
20. Maintain professional expertise by attending professional meetings, reading professional
literature, and discussing issues of mutual interest with others in the field.
21. Make provision for substitute teachers in his/her building.
22. Evaluate the performance of all certificated and noncertificated staff in his or her
building.
23. Contact and make provision for substitute teachers in his/her building.
24. Attend all regularly scheduled meetings of the Board of Education.
25. Provide opportunities for staff to grow professionally through attendance at conferences,
workshops, and in-house professional development activities.
