Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze network and application security events using Splunk, Rapid7, and other tools.
Detect and prevent web application software piracy, including unauthorized distribution and license circumvention.
Implement and maintain application-level security controls to protect intellectual property and enforce licensing compliance.
Collaborate with software developers to integrate secure coding practices and anti-piracy mechanisms into applications.
Partner with network and system administrators to maintain secure network configurations and to harden systems.
Implement DDoS mitigation strategies and configure F5 BIG-IP load balancers for application and network security.
Deploy and manage Bot defense technologies to prevent automated attacks on web applications.
Investigate and respond to security incidents, providing detailed root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
Creates and maintains systems logging, monitoring, and alerting
Documents infrastructure processes, procedures, and maintains asset management
Participates in on-call rotation, incident response, and is an escalation resource
Other projects and assignments as needed, requested by (Mitchell1 and Snap-on senior or executive leadership.)
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Education:
Bachelor's in Information Technology or equivalent work experience (preferred)
CISSP, GIAC (GWEB/GWEB), or other web application defense certifications (preferred)
Other IT systems, network, security, or cloud computing certifications (preferred)
Years of Experience:
Senior-level experience with 7+ years in application, system, and/or network administration, and IIS security

About the role:
PMAT is seeking Program Analysts to provide technical and analytical support for coordinating testing and installation events in support of NAVWAR's AI pillar. This role requires direct engagement with warfighter end-users, fleet stakeholders, and development teams to facilitate the seamless deployment and integration of advanced software and hardware systems across afloat, shore, and submarine platforms. The selected candidate will play a critical role in ensuring mission readiness by managing installation requirements, analyzing deployment challenges, and improving operational processes to enhance maritime command and control (C2) capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Testing & Installation Coordination: Oversee and manage the planning, execution, and assessment of software and hardware installations, ensuring alignment with operational needs and mission requirements.
User & Fleet Engagement: Collaborate directly with fleet users, operational teams, and leadership to identify system gaps, collect feedback, and implement solutions to improve tool performance.
Technical Documentation Development: Prepare, maintain, and update installation policies, process documentation, and training materials for integration into Navy warfighting systems.
Process Execution & Compliance: Ensure adherence to NAVSEA, OPNAV, and Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual guidelines governing the installation and integration of Programs of Record (POR) and non-POR systems.
Risk & Vulnerability Assessment: Work closely with cybersecurity teams to evaluate system vulnerabilities, track remediation efforts, and enhance installation security compliance.
Software & Systems Integration: Provide technical recommendations to developers to improve compatibility, usability, and operational effectiveness of fleet-deployed systems.
Performance Tracking & Metrics: Monitor installation effectiveness, user adoption, and mission impact, ensuring continuous improvement in system performance.
Required Skills and Experience:
3+ years of experience supporting hardware/software installation, testing, or systems integration on DoD/Navy platforms.
Knowledge of Navy systems and processes, including installation planning, testing coordination, and technical documentation development.
Familiarity with Navy Installation Process Handbooks, NAVSEA Technical Specifications, OPNAV instructions, and Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual.
Ability to coordinate with Warfighter Development Centers (WDCs), tool developers, and senior advisory leads to ensure tools meet operational needs.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills for managing installation timelines, testing schedules, and stakeholder engagement.
Preferred: Understanding of systems engineering, cybersecurity compliance, and DevSecOps principles as they relate to fleet operations.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Information Systems, or a related field
Demonstrated track record of academic success
Preference for individuals with relevant internships or work experience
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Advanced proficiency in Excel is required
Knowledge of investments and/or private markets

About the role:
PMAT has an immediate need for Program Analysts to provide technical and analytical support for coordinating testing and installation events in support of NAVWAR's AI pillar. This role requires direct engagement with warfighter end-users, fleet stakeholders, and development teams to facilitate the seamless deployment and integration of advanced software and hardware systems across afloat, shore, and submarine platforms. The selected candidate will play a critical role in ensuring mission readiness by managing installation requirements, analyzing deployment challenges, and improving operational processes to enhance maritime command and control (C2) capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Testing & Installation Coordination: Oversee and manage the planning, execution, and assessment of software and hardware installations, ensuring alignment with operational needs and mission requirements.
User & Fleet Engagement: Collaborate directly with fleet users, operational teams, and leadership to identify system gaps, collect feedback, and implement solutions to improve tool performance.
Technical Documentation Development: Prepare, maintain, and update installation policies, process documentation, and training materials for integration into Navy warfighting systems.
Process Execution & Compliance: Ensure adherence to NAVSEA, OPNAV, and Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual guidelines governing the installation and integration of Programs of Record (POR) and non-POR systems.
Risk & Vulnerability Assessment: Work closely with cybersecurity teams to evaluate system vulnerabilities, track remediation efforts, and enhance installation security compliance.
Software & Systems Integration: Provide technical recommendations to developers to improve compatibility, usability, and operational effectiveness of fleet-deployed systems.
Performance Tracking & Metrics: Monitor installation effectiveness, user adoption, and mission impact, ensuring continuous improvement in system performance.
Required Skills and Experience:
3+ years of experience supporting hardware/software installation, testing, or systems integration on DoD/Navy platforms.
Knowledge of Navy systems and processes, including installation planning, testing coordination, and technical documentation development.
Familiarity with Navy Installation Process Handbooks, NAVSEA Technical Specifications, OPNAV instructions, and Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual.
Ability to coordinate with Warfighter Development Centers (WDCs), tool developers, and senior advisory leads to ensure tools meet operational needs.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills for managing installation timelines, testing schedules, and stakeholder engagement.
Preferred: Understanding of systems engineering, cybersecurity compliance, and DevSecOps principles as they relate to fleet operations.
