Responsibilities:
As a Principal Consultant, you will consult with clients on service line workflow, and guide them through interdependencies and design decision impacts. You will provide solution oversight, direction and expertise to stakeholders. You will drive client-specific solution configuration design to meet workflow requirements and make recommendations to clients. You will mitigate solution risks and issues. You will execute workflow and process improvement strategies. You will lead client meetings and events. You will drive internal team initiatives.
Basic Qualifications:

As a Consultant at Guidehouse, you will play a critical role in supporting project teams and client engagements by capturing, synthesizing, and managing key information in real time. You will ensure that all discussions, decisions, and action items are accurately documented, enabling effective follow-up, compliance, and knowledge transfer across both internal and client-facing initiatives.
Accurately document meeting discussions, decisions, and action items during client and internal meetings, workshops, and project sessions.
Synthesize complex conversations into clear, actionable notes and distribute them promptly to stakeholders.
Maintain and organize official records, ensuring all documentation aligns with Guidehouse standards and client requirements.
Collaborate with project managers, subject matter experts, and client teams to clarify information and anticipate documentation needs.
Support the preparation of agendas, meeting materials, and follow-up communications.
Uphold confidentiality and compliance with all relevant privacy, legal, and client-specific requirements.
Leverage digital tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint) to manage and share documentation efficiently.
Participate in training and quality assurance activities to maintain high standards of documentation and client service.
What You Will Need
Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Public Administration, or a related field.
Minimum ONE (1) year of experience in consulting, project coordination, business analysis, or a similar role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, client-facing environments.
Proficiency with digital documentation and collaboration tools.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
