A Cellular Therapy Transplant Coordinator manages the care process for patients, donors and their caregivers undergoing cell-based therapies, such as CAR T-cell therapy or stem cell transplants. Serves as coordinator for the interdisciplinary team, including: physicians, nurses, social workers, dietitians, pharmacists, financial analysts, case managers, and support staff.

Responds to patient calls and clinical concerns and appropriately documents in patient's medical record.
Collects/documents data to meet clinical, regulatory (OPTN/UNOS/MCS), financial requirements
Participates in the development and implementation of practice guidelines, protocols, pathways, performance improvement and research activities.
Develops, coordinates, implements, and evaluates educational programs/projects for patients, personnel, and the community. Represents the Medical Center at regional and national meetings/conferences.

This role also includes participation in education and outreach activities related to organ allocation and transplantation to patients, healthcare providers and the community.
