Your Impact:
This position with Jacobs is to support the United States Central Command J21 RJITEF branch through the development and instructing of the Collection Manager course. Collection Managers (CM) support a critical function within the ISR cycle by ensuring component requirements are prioritized and actioned, reducing intelligence gaps and driving allocation decisions. We value candidates that demonstrate an ability to create content and provide instruction on the Collection Management cycle and purpose. To be successful in this role, you'll be able to take client needs and instruct students on being a Collection Manager.


Responsibilities:
The employee shall collaboratively produce and present timely, relevant training courses on intelligence topics of interest impacting USCENTCOM Directorate of Intelligence garrison personnel and CENTCOM AOR. Create, conduct and document training needs surveys. Research, design and develop training courseware for steady state, crisis/surge environments. Build an annual schedule of course offerings for inclusion in the organization's overall fiscal year course calendar. Produce trip reports following mobile training team events or other temporary duty assignments, inputs for the weekly activity report (WAR), weekly division staff meeting slides, quarterly and annual History reports, and ad hoc training studies and reports. Manage student course enrollment and completion status, including prerequisites, using the organization's Learning Management System. Conduct student security clearance checks for non-CENTCOM students, request security clearance passage for non-CENTCOM students, and request security policy exceptions for non-cleared students. Create and update course descriptions for catalog and organization's Learning Management System; and attend and supply training program effort updates at periodic and ad hoc branch meetings. The employee shall achieve initial instructor certification and complete annual instructor recertification. The employee Produces and presents training specifically on ISR topics to include Collection Management. Additionally, produces and presents training on a variety of intelligence computer systems and applications including but not limited to ISR operations such as analysis, message handling, data basing, and analytic production.

General duties: This position will be the lead for developing, implementing, validating, and maintaining training materials at the 319th Combat Training Squadron (CTS), Peterson SFB CO for the Space Battle Management (SBM) course.
Analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate SBM training products:

+ SBM Course Lead: schedule courses, determine and develop course content changes with stakeholders, prepare peer instructors to teach, and hold others to high standards of conduct

+ Provide classroom instruction in multiple 319 CTS courses consistent with Instructional System Design (ISD) to satisfy government training requirements

+ Interface with internal/external agencies as required to maintain an up-to-date training program

+ Develop, manage and instruct lesson content in accordance with 319 CTS instructions

+ Coordinate instructional activities and requirements with 319 CTS personnel

+ Additional duties as assigned

Required Experience:

+ Expert knowledge with space battle management in the space defense mission

+ Expert knowledge in Space Surveillance Network (SSN) sensors (Dedicated or Collateral)

+ Ground-Based Electro-Optical Deep Space Surveillance

+ Ground-Based Radars

+ Space-Based Sensors

+ Expert knowledge in Space Domain Awareness (SDA) tasking processes, analysis, sensor optimization, conjunction assessment, reentry/break-up assessment, and launch analysis

+ Expert knowledge with the joint planning process and course of action development at the strategic/operational level

+ Completion of a formal instructor course preferred, with demonstrated skill in platform instruction and ability to connect with audiences of varying demographics

Required Experience

Job Description


The Department of Management, Information Systems and Quantitative Methods in the UAB Collat School of Business seeks a non-tenure-track Instructor of Management. Applicants should have teaching experience in higher education with specific expertise in teaching a range of management courses to undergraduate business students, as well as more advanced topics in management for both graduate and undergraduate students. Candidates with a background in teaching management, organizational behavior, human resource management, operations management, and a wide range of other management-related courses will find outstanding opportunities to teach in these areas at UAB.


Required Qualifications


Applicants for this full time position must have an MBA or equivalent masters degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours credit in Management or closely related courses as well as 5 years experience in an executive management position. Applicants must be adept at teaching both on-line and face to face courses. Additionally, he/she will help design and implement curriculum and actively promote the Management and Human Resource Management Programs at The University of Alabama at Birmingham.
