About The Trainee Program
The Zebulon baseball team is looking for motivated and dedicated trainees looking to begin or continue their careers in the sports industry. The trainee program is open to college students and recent college graduates. Trainees will be required to work all home games, some non-game day events and office requirements. This program is designed to showcase behind-the-scenes of working for a sports organization.
Timeline: May 11th - August 10th (depending on playoffs), 40 hours per week, all 34 home games required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Preform as the teams on field emcee in front of up to 5,000 fans. Experience in public speaking is a plus.
* Assist with daily ticket operations, including processing requests, responding to customer service emails and phone calls, and completing ticket fulfillment tasks.
* Support the execution of ticket promotions and clearly communicate ticketing details and stadium information to fans and staff.
* Answer and route incoming phone calls to the appropriate department.
* Sell single-game tickets and special ticket packages. • Provide customer service support for package holders and season ticket members.
* Coordinate game day preparation, including wristband distribution, ticket scanners, stadium setup, and assisting with walk-up ticket sales at North Main Athletic Complex ticket windows.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
