Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Management Intern to support the facilities repair and maintenance function of our IT Help Desk team. This internship provides hands-on experience in managing repairs and maintenance operations, maintenance schedules, and vendor coordination. Primary Responsibilities Assist in daily oversight of building operations, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance tasks. Help track and manage maintenance requests and preventive maintenance schedules. Support the IT Help Desk team in coordinating with third-party vendors and service providers. Help ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations. Update facility records, manuals, floor plans, and emergency procedures. Desired Skills and Abilities Exceptional time management, facilitation, and organizational skills Strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills Customer oriented and cool under pressure Problem solving mindset Currently pursuing a degree in Facilities Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Strong organizational and time management skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with facility management software is a plus. Basic understanding of building systems and safety procedures. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
