Manager, information assurance job description

• Demonstrated, recent, and relevant experience working with senior government managers of IA issues

• Experience preparing formal written technical content for the development, implementation, and management of projects
• The ability to attend multiple scheduled meetings on a regular basis

• 10+ years' progressive experience as an Information Assurance technician/manager

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics is preferred, but experience may be substituted for degree
• Certified IAM III and/or IAT III, with recent and relevant DoD experience in IA preferred

The Information Systems (IS) Assurance Manager is responsible for leading a team of IS Assurance professionals in the review, documentation, evaluation and testing of information technology processes and controls in a wide range of environments.
Qualifications

Education:

* Bachelors degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems or other relevant field required

Experience:

* More than five (5) years of experience of information systems auditing experience required
* More than four (4) years of supervisory experience required
* Prior experience working within a public accounting or internal auditing environment preferred
* Prior experience performing IT general controls and application control reviews preferred
* Prior experience performing Service Organization Control (SOC) engagements highly desired

License/Certifications:

* CPA, CISA, or CISSP certification required

Software:

* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
* Exposure to ERP software such as Oracle e-Business Suite (EBS), SAP, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, Lawson, Microsoft-Great Plains, Microsoft Dynamics, Solomon IV, MAS/90-500, Linux and AS/400 operating systems, SQL and Oracle database highly desired

Unison Software Solutions, a leading provider for procurement and grants solutions to the federal marketplace, is seeking an Information Assurance lead.
+ Evaluate and provide guidance for information assurance activities and deliverables.

+ Actively participate in information assurance-related information exchanges, formal reviews, analysis of data, and monitoring of progress for future deployments.

+ Research information assurance concerns and providing guidance and recommendations for Government action.

+ Maintain documentation and conduct activities necessary to comply with the Government's implementations of their Risk Management Framework (RMF) and the following categories: Select Security Controls, Implement Security Controls, Assess Control, Authorize, and Continuous Monitoring.

+ Execute disciplined Information Assurance processes and practices in accordance with the Government's Certification and Accreditation policies and procedures, and recommend appropriate updates to the Systems Security Plan (SSP), Security Concept of Operations (SECONOP) and other IA documentation.

+ Support the Security test design, execution and evaluation as defined in the Security Requirements Verification Traceability Matrix (SRVTM). Monitor current security controls and features, and provide recommendations as necessary.

+ Respond to audit requests from the Government audit team. Provide information as requested to meet audit requirements related to IA tasks.

+ Maintain application configuration conformity to the Government's Authentication Environment and support SSP migrations to required criteria, including DCID, NIST/RMF, ICD, FISMA, and FISCAM requirements.

+ Support security scans.

+ Five years of experience as an ISSO

+ Experience to include at least one of the following areas: knowledge of current security tools, hardware/software security implementations, communication protocols, and encryption techniques/tools

+ Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university

+ DoD 8570 compliance with IAT Level 1 or higher

Physical Requirements: Qualified candidates will need to be able to commute to and

move/traverse throughout work facility.
